I dont understand. Bungie always said that exotic meant different not OP. They emphasized that they wanted exotics to feel different but that they woudnt overshadow their legendary counter parts. Some exotics in year 1 broke the mold, so to speak, and were OP right out the gate which Bungie and the Destiny community noticed right away.
Exotics dont have to be OP to be exotics. I feel that being able to use a legendary against an exotic is a much better premise then just having Suros/Vex/Thorn/Hawkmoon/etc. on the kill feed.

Edited by Heidegger: 10/15/2016 10:42:12 PMMida Multitool overshadows any scout in its Archetype and so does Thorn and The Last Word for High RoF handcannons. Truth overshadows any rocket launcher because of tracking/grenades and horses/ intrinsic perk tripod. The Chaperone is alot better than any shotgun in its Archetype because it can two tap people within the same range or kill further if the user can obtain a headshot.

Except the exotics don't even feel different

I agree. Although the problem now is you only see pulse rifles, shotguns and melees on the feed lol

Plz no nerfs pulses already got a bad nerf.
-
High ROF pulses need adjusting
-
I never said anything about nerfing pulse.

Well, true but that's something else Bungie needs to balance as well. I honestly dont want a huge update like 2.0 unless there is a new weapon type coming like with sidearms or submachine guns. I think more little updates would be better in the long run instead. Not expecting a whole lot more from this game now though. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes in Destiny 2 so that balancing is easier and more thoughtout.
