Do I have to complete the story in order to join a raid?

You. An join without completing even the first mission but in order to host it yourself, you must have beaten the capaign

I've done up to Alsis oart one on my second Hubter, and I still haven't done the first ROI mission with her.

You can join if you want but can't start one yourself. We had a guy save a check point in our team last week and he didn't tell us he hasn't unlocked the raid yet. So when we go back to use his saved cp we couldn't go in and had to do the whole beginning section again. Just do what I do and in your spare time run a mission or two and eventually get them unlocked on all characters so you don't have the problem in the future.

No you do not I beat the raid on my titan before completing the 2nd story mission

Nope you can join the raid without beating the story. You just cannot load it up on your own. You can join a fireteam in the raid or a friend in the raid if they have space. My friend did not do the last mission and was still able to join us.

1 ReplyNo anyone can bring you in to it. But you have to beat so many missions to get to the iron temple.

You will need to do the story in order to start the outbreak quest on that character though.

No u have to complete it if u want to start it. I haven't beaten it on my warlock or titan so I just pass someone else leader and they start it
