Yeah that blows. I raided for the first time Monday. Made my own lfg on here and said it was my first. Didn't need a Carrie. Anyone welcome. Ended up with a full team of first timers all in the 360 area. Took a few wipes at everything but the beginning but we got through to aksis phase two before we called it quits. Not enough dmg for our lack of experience. To many wipes. Would I do it again. Absolutely. Everyone just needs to be honest about there exp.

Your problem was you probably weren't using The Scorch cannons on a damaged phase.

Definitely one of the issues, another was the shanks wiping people out and the organization of just getting empowered people in the right spot to jump. Like I said though over all a good time. Sucked we couldn't beat it but I'll try again. Not bad for a full group of pugs first time.

Only way it should go. Newbies need to be honest. My first WotM also started with a lfg post asking for a guide and that we didn't do it before. Didn't make it past Aksis ph 2 either, it just requires so much more than the rest of the raid. Subsequent attempts had dishonest people join, we ask for experienced to help get past Aksis ph 2 but we get a 369 haven't done the raid before. We finally beat it when we got together a team that had beat it before, though it took quite a few wipes, we finally made it.

Phase 2 definitely requires a good amount of communication. Hopefully I'll get to do it.
