I was struck by a thought when I was going through the striker class. Why does Death from Above only allow you to aim it? I mean, a Titan entering terminal velocity driving a lightning bolt into the ground should be exceptionally powerful.
What I was thinking is that you guve the node the same treatment as Lance in the warlock tree, and give it a damage boost of around the same percentage as lance. I don't feel this would break the node, and give a stronger usage in PVE.
Edit: To the people complaining about pvp, this is mostly just a PVE buff. The only way the dps buff would kill you in pvp is if you are just far enough away to live through fist of havoc, and it would do about 150 damage to you or more. The radius of it would NOT CHANGE, its kill radius would increase incredibly marginally. Please leave PVP out of this.

I just love how people complain about how op fist of havoc is. Nova bomb can hit you from across the map, hell the warlock doesn't have to look at you. You have absolutely no chance of living through it the triple bomb and has all kinds of radius and get killed out of no where. But people still complain about fist of havoc, a super where you can be killed by many, many, many things even with unstoppable. The next person I hear complain about fist of havoc I am going to punch them relentlessly until my fist falls off.

Man this is a great idea. I love the idea of jumping up higher in the air and pouncing on the ground causing more disruptive damage . Goes well with the Striker theme aswell.

I think death from above is fine as it is. With that perk (and shoulder charge) striker becomes one of my favorite subclasses to play in pvp. It doesn't really need any buffs or other changes.

No bigger blast radius, just extra damage depending on how far you fall.

It should technically have greater radius and damage since free fall builds on the energy. It's physics fam. But then again Bungie physics dictates that our guardians bounce like balls off of walls or ledges, safe to say physics isn't their strong suit at Bungie.

I'd be cool with that. Damage numbers on a foh wouldn't effect pvp any. If you get hit by slam, you die by slam. Whether it's 300 dmg ot 3000 dmg. Either way you are dead. Golden gun damage buff did nothing in pvp. Neither will buffing dmg on foh.

you know what I love? - when I use my fist of havoc, I can be shot out the air. but when an enemy uses it, I'll do the same but they live. same with blade dancing.

Doing first raid (Vault of Glass). Middle of boss fight and I'm only one alive boss side. "are we wiping?"- says everyone. "Give me an extra 4 seconds and that gate will be open and the other person will be alive" "What..." *SWOSH* *BOOM* *A Titan hatches from an arc explosion* "WHAT WAS THAT!?!?" says the guardian who was just rez'd "Just the usefulness of a striker titan" says the titan who just used his super to cross the boss room and get an impossible rez off to save the fight. To me the usefulness of a Striker titan in PvE was always aftermath and the ability to damage over time. Its just hard to land your super on a boss and live. Or use your death from above to take impossible angles (for kills or positioning) "You can't rez me over here." "its cool I got it" *titan skating* *titan jet plane* *titan shoulder charge* *sword swing for added distance* *super to cover the last half the boss area* *rez's fellow guardian* Titan's are fast. Striker titans are the fastest.

I agree, Death form Above should work like lance or deadeye, only fair right? I mean I use all three classes but in pve I feel that FoH is underwhelming.

I know you're talking about PvE and stuff but man I think we can all agree that this happened to us where we're miles away from a fist of havoc especially in the air and yet somehow manages to one shot it's wierd how it works sometimes where you are on ground but far and yet it damages you but doesn't kill you and yet the guys in the air that are far get killed I feel as though fist of havoc is like hand cannons, very inconsistent
