If it was an exotic, there'd be a quest for it in the book. Instead, there's only four.
EDIT: Turns out I was wrong, This is definitely a new exotic, 'cos Black Spindle.
WTF happened to intelligible conversation?
Edited by iDovahBear: 10/12/2016 10:10:55 PMWell, you assumed it would have to be a Quest, which isn't true. The basis of that argument was wrong. Someone mentioned Kiosks not displaying a Hidden Exotic. Now this is a considerable piece of evidence that suggests it is not an Exotic. But your initial sentiment is not quite up to par because you're assuming it's a 'Quest'. Yes, what did happen to intelligible conversation? I didn't realize it was 'snidely scoff others' assertions' hour. I didn't realize we were expected to insult intelligence just because someone didn't yield to our own intelligible verdicts. Sometimes I find it sobering, how often the pot calls the kettle black on these Forums. I mean, here I am chastising you, and we're not so different.
-
I wasn't trying to make an argument, I was just saying that it's unlikely due to the fact that all four quests are accounted for. BS was a rare example of quests not being the only route for exotics so didn't consider it. I was just trying to make a conversation out of it until it became an argument.
-
Black Spindle called and said you're wrong.
-
See below.
-
Looked below, didn't see anything that makes your claim correct.
-
I'm not saying I'm correct, it's impossible to have an actual conversation on this site, but BS was a unique example of an exotic drop on this game, it's not standard and has never been seen outside of BS. While it's a possibility, it's just as unlikely as this code being a hidden exotic.
-
That still doesn't make your original claim correct at all.
-
I'm not saying I'm correct
I'll also quote when I said "it's impossible to have an actual conversation on this site" But I'll concede, The Black Spindle is evidence that this is a new unconfirmed exotic weapon...
-
The fact that you have not changed your original comment means that you believe yourself to be correct. If everyone was like you then Outbreak Prime wouldn't have been found.
-
Sorry, I'll edit that for you right now.
-
Was the black spindle a quest? No it wasn't. It could mean that it's like the black spindle which didn't require a quest.
-
Name a second exotic which dropped like this and tell me that BS wasn't a unique exotic.
-
It is the only one so far but that doesn't mean bungie wont do it again
-
It doesn't, but it also means it's extremely unlikely.
-
So because they did it with one weapon its never going to happen again? I like your logic. Also with all the armour that was made for TTK being released in ROI you would think it would be here too considering its perks are now known. Also the outbreak primes quest has TTK symbol on it which means it was also supposed to be in TTK?
-
That symbol, is that the purple triangle with the crown?

Edited by freesoulpk: 10/12/2016 8:50:30 PMoooh in the book he said 15 fragment........but............we have more!!!!
-
Re-read the objectives for the fragments and the exotic quests... "Complete all Exotic Quests in Rise of Iron" (all = Definitive) "Collect Dormant SIVA Clusters" (not definitive)
-
People thought there was only 15 frags because of the book, what can u say about that
-
I say read the books description of the objective... "Complete all Exotic Quests in Rise of Iron" "Collect Dormant SIVA Clusters"
-
Damn, you guys are clinging to the hopes of there being another exotic, aren't you?
-
Did you read? He says there isn't another exotic
-
Edited by NoStatsHereMate: 10/12/2016 8:53:46 PMWho's 'he'? What am I supposed to be reading? Or are you referring to me and my own post?
-
Wtf. Never mind, I thought you were someone else replying to you. Sorry, never mind. My bad.
