So.... How do I get a ghost shell?
My ghost shell is holding down my light level. I don't know how to get a higher light ghost. I've tried vendor packages, archons forge, strikes, iron banner and challenge of elders.
I'm starting to get just a bit frustrated. I understand the grind but this is just ridiculous.
Edit: Everyone keeps saying "Raid". Anyone have an opening on their Raid crew. Been trying LFG and the100.io with little luck.

Not a single fukin ghost shell between two characters. Tuesday night I spent 4 hours trying to beat the Raid and no ghost shell from that bitch either. Granted we only made it to Aksis phase 1 due to one under leveled person and another guy who couldn't manage to stay alive but damn.

I burnt through heavy ammo synths on weapon packages and got a ghost, then IB hit and I got another higher one... Now im 380 but just can't get one to drop.

2 RepliesI hear yeah man. Since RoI released I have had two blue ghosts drop from heroic strikes. 364 and 365 I level up all my factions on all characters nothing. Ran the shit out of IB, nothing. Leveled up Crucible on all characters, nothing. Run the Nightfall all three characters and still nothing. I cant tell you how many freaking class items I have gotten... so many...so so many. I get RNG but when all I get are class items then something has to be off... RNG is one thing this is another...

Faction packages and raid has given me Ghost shells with 375+ light. If you was lucky you would of been able to get one from the iron banner aswell.

3 RepliesWell you missed out on iron banner. I had 3 drop in 21 games. Now you can do the raid or hope to get one in packages. I've gotten them from crucible vanguard and faction. They drop at a reasonable rate.

I played all week, got to rank five on all characters, not a single ghost. [spoiler]also unfortunately no Clever Dragon[/spoiler] I've opened probably 35 packages since RoI and still no ghost

Finally got one last night out of a weapons package - it was either vanguard or crucible.

Literally the only options are faction packages, trials and the raid. They are a rare drop, but you've just gotta keep going. That is where iron banner was great. I made sure to grind out enough to get my hands on a few ghosts and artifacts while it was here. They were dropping end match. Bungie has said they are looking into adding more ways to get artifacts and ghosts as those are the current bottlenecks in level progression.

Faction packages will be your friend, I'll not suggest the raid as only a tiny minority actually do that.

They are random in the faction packages. Doesn't matter what package you choose

1 ReplyDo the raid. The first phase of AKSIS may give a Shell. I get one every other week between 3 characters (1 outta 6 drop). Vanguards n vendor packages, but this RNG is really bad. I had better luck when I turned on a lot of materials and ranked up like 3-5 ranks at one time. Iron banner, may have gotten one per rank 5. But this also RNG, could be better or worse.
