"Struggle"???? Ha! Finished the whole quest in a few hours with no void primary - I did luck out and get the quest on my lock. Year 1 I got the quest on my Gunslinger/Bladedancer - no void subclass and had no void primary. Crucible deaths hurt progress in Y1.... Y2 deaths do not impede progress. Y1 was a struggle. Y2 quest is more like an extended patrol mission.
