If it got an archetype swap, it would effectively get a range buff. I'm just talking about the general feeling of the weapon, like it should belong in the highest RoF archetype.
-
Its full auto makes it great, its probably one of the top 3 rumble weapons too
-
And it would be even better if it were in the highest RoF archetype.
-
Id keep it where it is Amazing in close to mid range
-
Changing its archetype wouldn't make it less effective. In fact, it would actually be more effective at those same ranges. Surely, as someone using The Waltz, you know the advantages of that archetype? In PvE, the gun is meant for clearing adds with no regard for ammo, making this a reasonable change. In PvP, having another option for a full auto 77-4 archetype for light-level enabled activities would be nice. I don't see how there's any downside to this change?
-
Its got a very niche role The waltz is my third weapon, im running a grenade build so my graps usually takes center stage for reasons you can check in a few, Rumble is veey different ball fpgame and id take bad juju over grasp many times out of the day, full auto, gret impact, and string of curses makes it a great rumble weapon
-
If it got the archetype swap I'm suggesting, it would get a noticeably faster ttk (from its current 0.87 sec to a flat 0.8, provided you can land crits) and a longer effective range.
-
Bad juju is much more cosistent in its nich role, id simple push its role (increase range)
-
Why restrict it to an inferior archetype? Yes, you get more damage per bullet, but your ttk suffers. The 77-4 archetype suffers less penalty at range, has a very reliable ttk, and is just better in almost every single way.
-
Not restriction at all, its really good at optimal range, take it into rumble and rack up the multikills
-
Changing its archetype to a better one, that has better effective range, a faster ttk, and is less punishing of missed/non-precision shots isn't going to result in it becoming a less effective weapon.
-
Oh yes it will, i know my favorite gun inside and out
-
And that, right there, is why you can't have an actual discussion on this subject. You're allowing your personal feelings prevent you from seeing the actual facts. 77-4 is a better archetype than 73-7 in every way, and Bad Juju would do nothing but benefit from this change. Its ttk would be 8-9% faster, its effective range would see a substantial increase, and it would just be a more competitive weapon overall.
-
I used the graps and the bad juju in rumble, guess which helps me win more?
-
And what I'm saying is that Bad Juju, with the perks it has of Full Auto, Hip Fire, and String of Curses on a stronger archetype would make it an even better option. If your Grasp had those perks, of course it would be the one dominating, but it doesn't. I've presented real, solid facts but you still refuse to accept the truth.
-
And i present experiences with the gun where it performs better
-
Your "experiences" have no basis in facts. If bad juju retained its current perks, which you value so much, but switched to the superior archetype, it would be an even better weapon.
-
Then why doesnit outperform the grasp archtype in that game mode
-
It might be doing better because the perks, that allow you to chain kills w/o reloading, fire in full auto, and gain increased stability while hip firing. If your grasp of malok had those same perks, it would be able to do just as well, if not better.
-
It also b3 overpowered with full auto
-
Oversoul Edict isn't/wasn't considered OP, why would this be?
-
The range is quite huge, it literally would be a sniper, the edoct wasent buffed at the time
-
Even now, it's still not significantly stronger than the other options.
-
It has a slower ttk and less effective range.
-
Yet out performs the grasp in rumble
