On consoles, I usually stay around 10 On the PC, I just messed around with it until I found a good one for me
-
I set it at 10 for reach grifball. I like to do instant 180s and kill people who dont expect it
-
On console, try to make it as high as you can without hindering accuraracy. Keep raising it until it's too high and then go back to the last one. On PC, just screw around with it. It really depends on your preference, although it's not smart to make it too high.

Edited by pValue2010: 10/12/2016 3:22:53 PMI always go slightly above the default sensitivity, but have no objective proof that this is better. I feel like I'm able to aim around quicker without sacrificing precision. Plus, I'd be more angry if I died because I wasn't able to aim quickly enough. If I simply miss, then I have only myself to blame.
-
I like mine a little higher than standard but I've been seeing more and more that it's better to go lower for precision. I should try it one of these days.

Whatever you're comfortable with.

Go back and watch the recordings and look to see if your aim is trailing or leading your targets. Trailing - increase your sensitivity Leading - lower your sensitivity Record your play with the new setting and repeat until you find your sweet spot.

Highest with a control freak on the right stick
-
The one you feel comfortable with.
-
I always go the highest
-
I always use standard. 😕
-
For competitive play a lower sensitivity is preferred. For casual pub play, it's more of a preference issue. I personally like mine higher but not max.
-
I do max for all games. If you can get used to it you can do some massive damage. However you do need to work up to it most of the time and if you can't you are better off lowering it a bit then trying to force yourself to use a sensitivity that you are missing all your shots.
-
I like to go in between so I can have the most versatility and use all kinds of weapons

Edited by moist nana: 10/11/2016 11:38:29 AMShould always go for the highest, if you can master aim with that you'll be near invincible. Tone it down till you find something your comfortable with, but generaly the higher the better

2 RepliesIf you're more a sniper/stay at the back and pick off people, use a lower sensitivity (4). If you enjoy rushing with shotguns/smgs go with 6+.

I use 10.

Edited by LiamCDM: 10/11/2016 2:14:40 AMIt all comes down to what role you prefer being. If you're more passive, a lower one is optimal. A more aggressive playstyle would warrant a higher one. However, it's completely possible to pick one that strays from that norm and excel with it.
-
The most common advice is a lower sensitivity on PC and a higher sensitivity (plus joystick extensions) on console.
-
That's kind of a silly question as it depends on the game and what you're comfortable with...
-
It depends on the game, your play style, and more importantly, what you can handle For games where you die fast and consistent aim under pressure isn't as important as twitchy reflexes and utilizing the snapping of the aim assist, higher is much better. For games with moderate to high kill times, low to medium is good for consistency, and higher if you can handle it. In these types of games, your strafe actually plays a bigger role in your aim. You're much better off tracking a strafe with a counter strafe of your own with small right stick adjustments rather than flicking the righy stick all over the place. Lastly, playstyle. Up close and personal? Usually higher Stick back, support, or sniper? Low to medium is the usual. (But sometimes it doesn't matter cause you have to adapt to situations and just use what feels right) But of course, if you can handle higher sensitivity, well normally people just use that. I've had friends bitch SO much about the games aiming feeling like shit, or that they can't seem to aim. So I'm like whoa dude your sensitivity is high! Like in halo, I use 3 or 4, while these dudes are on 8 or higher. So they try a lower setting and say they feel too slow...and I say..wtf is the use of being able to turn fast if you can't land any shots? Just whatever you do, don't switch between sensitivity a lot. Use one until you get used to it, otherwise you jack your aim and reflexes up.
-
I say a good sensitivity would be empathy for those less fortunate
-
Depends on the game and how comfortable you are. Theoretically the higher you can can handle the better, but at some point it can be difficult to use.
-
Whatever is comfortable for you.
