Ban fireteams of 4 or more. Every match that has had a fireteam of 4 or more in it, have been laggy, red bar queens.

Nope. They just needs to get rid of peer2peer. One person lags then almost everyone playing the game lags
-
Good idea. Segregate the community more so that matchmaking is even worse...
Idiot
-
Genius. Let's encourage team play then switch it up and ban them. That'll help.

Fireteams can't be banned from a team mode. It's annoying but just deal with it or back out and try another lobby. Personally I'd rather get my ass handed to me quickly and still get rewards but... Just deal bro.
-
Yeah, I know, but it would be nice to not have so much lag in IB for once.
-
this.
-
I went in with a full team of my friends and experienced red bars on the other team so your idea can eat a dick
-
Way to be mature about it.
-
Sounds like his comment hit you square in the feels.
-
No. I play with my Australian friend all the time, and when we get a team going we get the occasional game with poor connection. I'm not going to stop playing with Australians
-
It's NOT the size of the team . . it's the "Connections" . . BAN the Slow/Laggy/Cheaters ! It's almost 2017 ! for F-ing sakes . . PUT in a "Minimum speed limit" ! If you can't get the right stuff to play . . . YOU SHOULDN'T !! Where's the "Damage Referee" ?! huh . . What happened to that ?! Oh, It would have worked & made us happy so it will take 6 months to a year to be looked at . . got it ! TLDR: take out the slow connections & lag (Plus the cheaters) and the game will "Work as Designed" ! And might make PvP fun again . . .
-
what about the people who's country can't afford/ give out higher internet speeds? you going to ban out all of AUS?
-
Trump said to build a wall.
-
Why do ppl think Aus speeds are so bad they are not great but way fast enough for a game. I get 25mb down and 6mb up with 8ms latency. Maybe certain parts of Aus have it bad but large parts of the country are on the new nbn network now that runs over 100mb down.
-
Um why not matchmaking by region? Derp. I'm on the US west coast... If I get in a match with people from Singapore I'm going to leave. Common sense tells me the connections will be shit.
-
seriously lol
-
thn you do not match the requirement for this game to play online.
-
The minimum speed required is clearly already able to be reached by all , Or you wouldn't be able to play . No, the "Minimum" I speak of would make "Lagging" on purpose a thing of the past ! the system could keep a history (Average) of your speed. If you go to low . . .KICKED ! Put the responsibility on EACH player to WANT to get the best connection possible, this makes the game as a whole much better for ALL. Plus, the speed could be set per country i'm sure .. I play daily with a dude from Down-Under ! He tries to get the best connection possible & has no problems.
-
ah okay. Thanks for clarifying that. That would be nice to have, an archive of your internet history kept, but there are a few flaws with that. First, and by far the biggest, this is Bungie and Activision we are talking about. Activision only cares about making a profit and anything that doesn't make money doesn't happen with them. Bungie is too busy working on Destiny 2 to really do anything about connections so there goes that, hopefully it gets better in Destiny 2 Also, I speak from experience, sometimes internet just takes a huge steamy dump all over you and you can't really do anything about it on those days. I personally try to stay away from gaming if that happens but I can't vouch for others. Final point I have is that as long as SBMM is around, even though it clearly doesn't work cause I'm never fighting people of the same skill as myself, it will take people from around the world. Lag and red bars do happen because of this. I have a pretty good upload/download speed of about 4/30 MB on average but there are many games i play where I have at least a yellow bar. Simply just because I am playing people from across the globe. I don't condone bad connections or cheating at all. I do believe that cheaters need to be severely punished (have you ever played Guild Wars? My favorite system by far lol) and people with bad connections should only be put up against other bad connection players or be completely barred in general. I mean, you've spent at least $400-$500 with the system, game/expansions, and membership. Your definitely not poor enough to not have a stable ISP with a Router and Ethernet Cable if you play this game. Being poor is not an excuse you can make when me, someone who is probably a lot poorer then you, is able to do all of this. What I'm saying is basically yes I agree to you to an extent. Cheaters and people with just flatout bad connections should be punished/barred from PvP, but there are other factors you have to take into consideration due to the current SBMM system they have.
-
Yes, Exactly . . Agreed ! Even a poor connection will seem great with the "Cheaters" gone though . .
-
Oh dam best solution around. Community wouldn't be pissed about that! *sarcasm*
-
Edited by Darth Lunchbox: 10/7/2016 2:33:14 PMI hear ya, but you can't please everyone. I have a feeling it would please more people than not though, seeing as how bad the lag during IB is.
-
The thing we need to do is make it so when queuing solo, you have a low chance of encountering a fire team, and the other way around for fireteams
-
Sounds good.
