Fix iron banner loot table
So I know 99.99% of you guys will agree about how your at the top of the leaderboard and all you get is a blue, more of light or nothing then the person in last place gets all the good loot it's annoying!

1 ReplyI don't mind. Rng is rng. Same as in raids. In ib I'm most often top and in regular crucible mid. And I don't mind if people below me get more gear then me. I see most 350-370 people and they need the gear more then me. I get my share of gear eventually. And if your consistently top isn't rated a sign that others need the gear more then you do as well?

1 ReplyConfirmation bias running wild this week, completely ignore the times you do get loot and brood over the times you don't and the bottom guys do. I pay attention to all loot drops no matter where I end up on the scoresheet and loot drops for good players, bad players, and middle players from game to game. It's RNG. Being at the top doesn't guarantee you loot and it never has.

Well considering there is a 5 to 1 chance of someone in the positions 6-2 to get the same loot as the guy at the top , obviously there's going to be more loot drops below the top position. Simple math. (Any Manchester orchestra fans out there?)

4 RepliesI actually agree with this... I played IB for a solid few hours today and had an 8 win streak... Granted a couple of games I played like absolute puss but held my own on most... Floated around middle on average with a couple of blinders and a top score of the game and what did I get?? Nothing!! The same damned shotgun over and over... No armor drops... 1 ghost drop... And rate engrams... Ended up leaving the IB to go play in the forge for a bit... Got more legendary drops there than in the IB...

I am tired of getting pub stomped by the level 385 raiders and tryhards of Osiris. I can't wait for Friday to finally let those sweaties go play elsewhere. Then what do I get to show for it? OH BOY a legendary that's the same light level as the piece I'm already using or some crappy blue. Atleast an engram would be nice. I can use that to get better legendaries. This loot table has been garbage for increasing light levels.

19 RepliesYou really think 99.99% of people agree with you? Did you think that maybe if the people at the bottom of the leaderboard didn't get any rewards for playing they just wouldn't play? That's going to reduce the pool of players significantly. That's a mighty big 0.01%. Or that by having it RNG based it doesn't encourage cheating/lagswitching like Trials does? It all evens out. I see just as many people at the top of the board get rewards as those at the bottom. People only seem to notice it though when they lead the team and get nothing.
