You kids have no idea how easy the Thorn quest is this year...
Seriously. Anyone complaining about the RNG factor of this quest needs to look back into the days of yore when deaths in the crucible counted against the progress and sidearms with ammo on spawn didn't exist.
I just completed the crucible step of this quest in about 9 rounds of supremacy. K/D be damned.

That's all. Now get off my lawn.
Edit: ...and complete. In less than 24 hours. Was running strikes looking for key. Dropped into Abomination Pit, killed ogre...Key Dropped right there...opened chest ...profit.

Agreed. Xyor the unwed was a pain as well. The strike this time was a joke lol. I used WoC the first time through. This time AE was far more effective for me. I've been out of the hand cannon meta too long.
