From Worst to Best: The Iron Lord Artifacts.

So today I thought I would rank the Iron Lord Artifacts in order of Worst to Best after playing with each one on my own account and my good friend's account. This is for both PvE and PvP combined, but if asked I could rank them separately. Unranked: Memory of Felwinter. I say this is "Unranked" because it all comes down to preference on this one. For me personally, this would come in last place, seeing as how in PvE supers are very powerful and how in PvP I don't ever play Nightstalker (just about the only subclass that this benefits in PvP). 7: Memory of Perun. If you aren't familiar with this Artifact, it highlights enemies that have supers yellow, and will highlight low health enemies red. This could be useful, except at distances it barely works and the means for seeing enemies with low health or a super are already in the game. 6: Memory of Timur: I'll just say it, this artifact is crap. There is absolutely no reason you should be using this in any serious PvE activity. I actually was in a heroic strike where an encounter wouldn't start because someone had enslaved a Vandal and so not all enemies were dead. 5: Memory of Silimar: Noticing a trend with PvP only Artifacts? Me too. The Memory of Similar will reduce the damage of DoT attacks in PvP, and I'd be lying if I said it hasn't saved me a handful of times. But this artifact is so situational it's insane. Still more use than Perun. 4: Memory of Radegast: This artifact is relatively gimmicky in PvP but in PvE gives a great boost to Sword ammo capacity. In PvE this is almost a must have for sword users. Again, situational, but still very good at what it does. 3: Memory of Jolder: Now no sprint cooldown may seem kinda lame from the outside, but after using it you can see the effect everywhere. It's hard to use another artifact after using Memory of Jolder in any activity. 2: Memory of Skorri: This is a really potent Artifact in PvE and PvP. Warlocks with Tlaloc can work wonders with Memory of Skorri. It isn't as great for people constantly using supers, but if you aren't, then this is fantastic. 1: Memory of Gheleon: If you aren't familiar with this beast, it gives two things. The first is an enhanced radar, this is the radar that 'Keen Scout' gives in the Nightstalker skill tree. "But wait! There's more!" Not only this, but you also gain the 'Third Eye' perk on all Primary Weapons. This is very handy in all activities (excluding inferno playlists and chaff modifiers). What I think is best about Memory of Gheleon is that it doesn't favor any specific play style. The enhanced radar can be great for a shotgunner or a fusion user to help them locate targets much more effectively. But I also found it extremely useful when playing passively with a sniper. I was able to properly pinpoint exactly where someone was coming from and I could easily put myself in a position to counter them. Easily the best all-around artifact.

    • I would agree with this except to say Felwinter's can benefit any class and any subclass at all if you enjoy it's neutral game and like the 'nades and melees. I see a few folks judging the usefulness of Felwinter's based on the strength of the super you're sacrificing but that's absolutely not the point. Use it on anything at all but base your choice and build it on what you WILL have and not what you won't. (And maybe don't use it in Mayhem unless you want a challenge.)
