How come Hunters don't get an over-shield?
Please give hunters an over-shield. I hate nearly killing a warlock/ titan, having them melee me and suddenly getting this impenetrable shield and shutting me down.[spoiler]I can't wait for the salt[/spoiler]

Not much, but enough to survive a headshot from a sniper if it's launched at full health or letting us keep our super bar if we are killed during animation.. And all the Titans asking about invisibility just use patience in time lol

Your speed is your over shield we can dash around faster than any class we don't need protection we can evade bullets easily.

We don't get an overshield for the same reason titans and warlocks do not get a cloak/active camo

4 RepliesThat's what makes playing as Hunter so difficult in PvP and PvE. You don't get an overshield with any super or melee. And wether the titans and warlocks will admit it, the overshield can really be a lifesaver during raids and especially in crucible. That's one of the biggest reasons a like running my titan over my hunter in PvE

No salt. Just a correction. A titan needs to kill you with a melee (in shotgun valhala) to get an over shield.

2 RepliesWe don't need one as our class is supposed to be a scouting one so why shield a scout when the scientists and footsoldiers need them to protect their Brains and everyone else respectively

You need to realise what Hunters are and what they stand for. Hunters are scouts, scouts are about being stealthy and getting the long range sneak attack. The technology for having an overshield would be too bulky and loud for a hunter. It's also why they don't have a jet pack.
