TOPIC OF THE THORN.
(Post here if you haven't gotten your quest yet.)
Personally I've done all 4 Shiro on all 3 characters since ROI dropped. + each vanguard every day.
I've done the other 3 exotic quests in the book and this is my last..
And all for a gun that's super garbage and nerfed to nothing. I'm pretty sure the palindrome that he is selling 2 tapped me in crucible yesterday. And it is legendary lolz, the Thorn needs to be reworked
EDIT: 47 shiro hand INS later and I got the jagged Thorn quest to drop. MY QUEST IS OVER. BC THIS IS NOTHING LIKE YEAR ONE QUEST.

I had the tower bug as well, and did all 4 shiro bounties on each character each week. It wasn't until my 25th bounty turned in that i finally received the thorn quest. Now the tower bug is gone but a new one has popped up over shiro!

I'm up to 36 bounties myself and still nothing. Fantastic. I am hoping when I get up to 513 bounties that Bungie will be kind enough to just give me the blasted Jagged Purpose.

I think the quest was pretty freaking easy. Grinding the Forge for it forever though. I don't care what yall say, the thing still wrecks like a beast. DoT doesn't do much, but it's range is still pretty good, only a bit less than Ill will, and the high RoF combined makes an above average handcannon.

its nerfed.. hard. but rate of fire is crispy and it still can do work for sure. I use yr3 thorn way more than I thought I would. worth the wait.

2 RepliesI got mine yesterday. I stacked up the 4 Shiro weekly bounties, a weekly crucible bounty, and 11 standard bounties. I handed in Shiro's 4 last. I got the thorn bounty on my last one. Definitely RNG based as a friend did the same thing I did, but got it on his first Shiro bounty handed in. It will come eventually don't you worry.

Got mine on the 8th shiro bounty. Turned in 4 shiros and 10 vanguard fast. I guess shiros is where it came from.
