Put destiny on a ssd instead of a hdd and it will load faster.

That's not whet he's talking about. He's talking about accessing a Synth on his character, not game loading. This is probably a Bungie issue, as they store all your characters information on their server. If it's slow, then accessing menus is slow. Since 2.4.0, sometimes I've seen menus refuse to load data (just a swirly please wait thing) and all I get is a blue background. Closing the character menu and then it will load up with all my items. Usually this has happened in the Tower.

But it is what he's talking about. I switched to a ssd about a month ago and my inventory screen loads a lot faster now. I started to notice when watching videos of people playing the raid, they could access their menus a lot faster than me. Now, I load as fast as anyone I've seen.

It's a loading issue from memory, not everything is saved in destinys servers. It really does help, it's why some of my friends load into areas before me, and I know I have better internet than them.
