I'm not just talking "has someone ship-ed it" I'm talking were they canonically a thing. It's hinted at in the cutscenes, and I'm kinda curious now.
I don't have any of the Iron Lords grimore cards, so if it's in there, sorry I don't have them.

They were. They were a thing

She rejected him at the last second. Lol

I think Saladin and Gayde-6 are a thing.

There's a lot of hints toward Saladin holding Jolder in very high regard. Fist of all, in the cinematic, Saladin seems particular distressed that he had to leave Jolder in particular behind in the replication chamber. Of course, his pain is most likely due to losing all his friends in one day. That's why this was mentioned first. Second, when you recapture Felwinter Peak and Saladin shoots the two Fallen Vandals behind you, what gun is he using? Jolder's Hammer. Or at least a gun that looks quite similar. Third, when we finally destroy the replication chamber, we bring back Jolder's helmet and present it directly to Mr. Saladbowl himself. Why not any other artifacts from Gheleon or any of the others? This isn't concrete proof that they were an item. It's just a few subtle hints that suggest they may have held each other in very high regard.

18 RepliesI ship it. The Ghost Fragment, Mysteries 3 card is the smoking gun for me. Behold the saddest line-break in the history of line -breaks: As his axe bites, again and again, Skorri’s Iron Song haunts him. He calls upon Radegast’s strength. Perun’s sense of purpose. Timur’s questions. Felwinter’s cynicism. Silimar’s persistence. Gheleon’s reasoning. Jolder’s smile. I think the fact that Jolder is separated from the others is significant. Also the fact that the memory he associates with her is just pure emotion rather than a definite personality trait, like what he remembers about the others is their skills but with Jolder it's how she made him feel. I mean, you could still interpret this as them being close friends but it seems like more than that to me, at least going by this card.

19 RepliesEdited by Arron Rift: 10/2/2016 6:17:25 PMActually, if he loved her that would explain the last thing I wondered about that cutscene. Her face made it pretty clear that she wanted him to stay outside since he was the only one who wasn't infected. He probably also knew that she had planted explosives in the room and was going to go all Shield Brothers on SIVA. And yet he ran for the door as fast as he could. I never understood what he was thinking. He wasn't thinking. He was feeling.

The whole Saladin and Jolder is just a cover up Saladin to hide his affair with Ikora.

While not stated it is heavily implied, how he acts when she died, when you give him her helmet, and the only gun we see him use is hers.

1 ReplyI would say yes, but I say no because the iron lords treated each other like brothers and sisters. Not saying it couldn't be, but I don't think it is.

2 RepliesOf course not. Jolder is dead, silly.
