In response to this post, let's help Bungie come up with new lore friendly strikes that are fitting with the SIVA crisis, so we aren't stuck fighting Taken all the time.
I'll start with the The Shadow Thief (Taniks) strike:
Shiro-4: "After the death of Taniks, a Splicer Archon took over his ketch above the hellmouth and began capturing hive for experimentation. Return to the Moon, board the ketch and stop him before he can create more abominations."
Basically the same strike but with splicer enemies instead of regular fallen.
Omnigul:
Eris: The Splicers have done something terrible..They have rebuilt OMNIGUL with their infernal SIVA
Ghost: They can do that?!
Lord Saladin: SIVA is a powerful thing we do not understand. You did fight my dead comrades in the Plaguelands after all...Get in there and stop the reburn Omnigul once and for all.
Edit: great replies for "SIVA-ifying" the existing strikes and even a few clever completely new strikes. Whether or not Bungie actually modifies the strikes or creates completely new ones it is still fun to read all the interesting twists you all have made.

10 RepliesEdited by The Domnivore: 10/5/2016 10:46:59 AMThe Warhead: Siva and Cabal based Strike on Mars Shiro: "The Splicers have launched an attack on the Cabal base on Mars. I guess they are not just looking to take Ogres on Earth." Ghost: "But why did they go to Mars? Aren't there enough Hive on Earth?" Shiro: "After Oryx took that Centurion, the Fallen thought it would be smart to infect Val'Tuarn, second in command to the Bond Brothers. Get in the base. Prevent the Fallen from taking the Centurion." You arrive in The Barrens on Mars and head to the Scablands where Splicers are fighting the Cabal. A large Captain is firing a Scorch Cannon at the Cabal. Ghost: "Wow. I didn't think they would actually have an Archon here." Shiro: "Take him out Guardian!" You weaken him, and he teleports away. Shiro: "Guardian, find that Archon. It might already be too late." You head to Firebase Rubicon, where more Splicers are fighting the Cabal. Ghost: "If you get me to that Terminal, I can track where the Archon is." You take the Ghost up the wall and head into a small shelter where the Terminal is. Ghost: "It says he's already in the base." Shiro: "Get in there guardian." You go through the Rubicon Wastes into the Iron Line. Cabal are stationed there with a Major Colossus. You take him out and go through the Iron Line, Trenchworks, and the Valley of Kings into Cerberus Vae, where you killed Valus'Tauarc. The Splicer Archon is there and Val'Tuarn, who is currently getting infested by SIVA. Shiro: "Guardian, what's happening in there." Ghost: "Val'Tuarn is turning into a... Splicer!" Shiro: "Take out that Archon Splicer, now!" The Archon teleports away again, and you have to fight Val'Tuarn, splicer. You take him out. Ghost: "We did it. Val'Tuarn won't be another pawn in the Splicers' plans." Shiro: "Guardian, the Archon Splicer is still out there--" The Archon Splicer teleports into Cerberus Vae. He has a Splicer SIVA cannon, similar to the Scorch Cannon, which has the ability to create SIVA Swarms when it hits a solid surface. These can be shot. More Splicers fill the room, and Vandal Splicer Scouts try to attack. When the Archon loses half of its health, majod Splicer Servitors come out. The Archon starts to aggressively run up to you and stomp on you. You kill the Archon Splicer. Ghost: "Shiro, the Archon is dead." Shiro: "Good work Guardian. Thanks to you, SIVA will not spread to other planets." End of Mission.
Strike Specific Loot: "Archon's Magnum": A SIVA infested Sidearm "Tuarn's Tendon": Hunter Leg Armor that looks like Centurion leg armor, but with SIVA on it.
I don't have much original ideas, but I think they should've made mini 3 person raid- strike hybrids. Like 2 bosses that drop good loot instead of one.

32 RepliesEdited by Promethean241: 10/2/2016 5:56:11 AMYoung Wolf Cayde: Aaand I'm back. I know, I know, where the hell was I? Well Young Wolf... *chuckles* I'm sorry, that's so ridiculous. Young Wolf? Cmon, you're a Guardian. Anyway... oh, where were we? Oh yeah, we were talking about where I was. Well Guardian, I was doing a bit of research on this SIVA as soon as it popped up, hence my lacking during your little campaign against the Fallen. Guess what I found out? Go on, guess. Oh, okay fine, I'll tell you. As it turns out Guardian, I found a nest of SIVA infused Fallen, a hive of them actually. They're somewhere on Mercury and because of the unknown Vex tech covering the planet, we've gotta squash this hive and we need to do it fast. We can't risk the Fallen getting their hands on Vex tech. That's where you come in. *spawn on the surface of Mercury, gazing out at a field of dead Vex* Ghost: Cayde, there's a lot of dead Vex out here... Cayde: Someone must've woken that SIVA hive then. Get a move on Guardian, we can't afford those Fallen getting that tech *begin fighting small amounts of enemies until you reach a temple door* Ghost: I suppose you know the drill. You kill waves of enemies, I lock pick, the usual. *three waves of enemies. Guardians fight them off to unlock the door* *door opens to reveal sun rays passing through, casting a beautiful light. Vex turn to you, immediately hostile. fight waves of Vex to he next encounter* *next encounters another door, this time infused with SIVA* Ghost: Whoa, never seen this before. Okay, let me scan. *deploy ghost* Ghost: Okay, it looks like we need to go around killing Vex Minotaurs and take the core out of their weapons. If we place them just right, it should blow the door. *guardians must kill five Minotaurs and then clear all enemies to progress* Ghost: Ready Guardian? Okay. Cayde? We're going in. Cayde: Got it. Hey, Guardian? Careful, we don't know how they've been modified... *door opens, sucking in the Guardians. Hordes of Vex infused SIVA Fallen swarm at them, with a Vex Devil Walker in the center of the room.* Ghost: Guardian, RUN! *the effort is hopeless, all Guardians die, leading to a cut scene* *everything goes bright, your Guardian covering his face. Before you, are the silhouettes of people long dead. They are the Iron Lords. Ghost: The Light seems to be reaching a conflux. Guardian, I think we're dead... Jolder: You are indeed, but the laws of the dead can be bent. Ghost: Wha- oh my... Jolder: We are the Iron Lords and we are long dead Guardian. We served our purpose... but you... you have more to do. It appears that for the first time in a long time, the Traveller has made a decree. It has allowed us to speak with you and give you what you need to win this. The enemy down there, is infused with two of the darkest powers ever seen and are invincible to a normal Guardian, but you're no normal Guardian, are you? Here, we bestow upon you our Iron Blessing. Take what remains of our light and the light the Traveller has gifted us to speak to you on this day. Go down there and defeat the enemy. *epic soundtrack from last mission of the campaign kicks on (Young Wolf)* *Guardians gain unlimited super and faster health recharge* *enemies are no walk in the park still* *fight through waves of enemies and kill Devil Walker* *you defeat the strike* Cayde:... *static* no no no, this can't be happening. Guardian are you there? Guardian? Ghost: We're here Cayde. We're alright. Cayde: What happened down there? You... you died. What the hell happened? Ghost: Something extraordinary.

3 RepliesEdited by Shade: 10/4/2016 12:29:15 AMStrike: Splicer S.H.A.N.K 2.0 Rasputin in his usual voice: (Transmission in Russian) Ghost: Guardian, I'm picking up another transmission from Rasputin's vault Zavala: What the... I thought we secured the vault?! Ghost: Apparently not Shiro: Well you guys will love this, picking up SIVA readings in the vault Zavala: The vault was sealed?! Saladin: You must learn Zavala, SIVA cannot be contained You spawn in the front of the entrance to Rasputin's vault in the grottos, the door is sealed tight Ghost: Guardian patch me in (He scans but cannot get through) Ghost: Well, this isn't good, I cannot get through Zavala: I'll report to the nearby fleet (The vanguard should in reality have ships with weapons or nearby guardians with ships) Cayde: One of my scouts are near your location, he'll blast that door open for ya. (A ship flies by twice and on the third time fires a missile at the door, it does nothing) Cayde: Well thats lame, I had the latest in stolen tech Ikora: What was that Cayde? Cayde: Nothing, Nothing Zavala: Yes... Shiro... Could we arm a bomb at the door Shiro: It's worth a shot, ghost sending you the details now Ghost: Got them (Ghost deploys a bomb out of code) Ghost: Arming it now, give me time You then have to fight off splicer fallen for 3 minutes, with each waver getting tougher than the last Ghost: It's armed guardian get back You have 15 seconds to get a good distance away from the entrance Door blows open Ghost: Finally, now let's see what going on in there encounters first room, all is quiet but those SIVA pillars glowing with red energy, it is the same until the hallway where there used to be the arc energy. Instead, the arc energy has a red glow and is now solar energy. Saladin: Incredible, SIVA actually overridded Rasputin's systems. Ghost: How can we get by? There is a console across from you, get to it. Getting hit by the energy is a one hit, however its movement is slower than the old arc energy. Once you get to the console you destroy it, and the lasers turn off. Ghost: Are SIVA not expecting us, why are the systems so easy to maneuver? Zavala: When we sealed the vault, we made sure we could re-enter, and only us Ikora: Why didn't you tell us this? Zavala: Because we are trying to establish peace with the warmind, and to do that we need to understand him. Proceeds until boss room Ghost: This isn't much of a strike, as i recall, back in the day there would be enemies to fight to get to the boss Guardian (speaking after a long time of silence): We do not question how things work Recalling the shank strike, two splicer servitors appear and the player must kill them Rasputin: (noises of anger and distress) A giant splicer shank appears, the room fills with red energy and the shank strike mechanics are the same as last time, except with a twist. Ghost: And Zavala said they wouldn't be able to get back in... right... his 1st phase involves rockets rather than a sniper Ghost: This thing cannot be dealt heavy damage, all the time building up armor in the vault Rasputin: Noises of anger A weakspot is revealed on the shank, once shot enough is lowers the shanks defense systems, therefore it can be dealt damage. The shank tries to retaliate, and Rasputin shocks the shank Ghost: Guardian, shoot it now! Dealt damage for three phases, Rockets, Grenades, and Lasers Tons of shanks are spawning as well, mostly sniper shanks. Rasputin: Noises of triumph Deals the final blow to the shank Ghost: That was interesting, who would've thought that SIVA could take over Rasputins systems Rasputin adapting to english: Young ghost, it is time i reveal myself to say thank you Ghost: What? Rasputin? Reveals new dlc Zavala: Guardian?! Guardian do you read me?! Continues to new campaign to the first story mission. Feedback would be appreciated :)

Get me close to a conflux and I can pinpoint a source. " Blinding lights start bursting from the rocks and vex spawn in, surrounding your fireteam. Confluxes appear from within the light columns. Objective : scan the confluxes Vex enemies spawning will become increasingly denser and more powerful the longer you take to get ghost to each conflux. Once all confluxes are scanned, the vex despawn and ghost starts talking again. "I'm getting energy feeds on and off, but they're coming from deep underground, and they're moving very erratically. " Ghost - "Chrono-what?" Ikora - "It hasn't been mobile since Mercury was first turned by the Vex. I was hoping it would neve-" The ground starts rumbling and a massive serpent-like vex mind bursts from the stone, soaring hundreds of feet into the air before crashing back into the ground, leaving two massive holes in the ground. The boss is designed with the head of a vex hydra and many spinning sections linked by bright conflux energy. Ikora - "It's broken the surface, Guardian! Destroy it!" Objective : Destroy Apophis, the Chronovore. Boss fight : Guardians are required to damage the boss as it plummets face first back into the ground after jumping, and then avoid being crushed when it hits. Fusion rifles reccomended. Each link will become the head after the first is destroyed, centipede style. There will be about 20 links to the boss, each having the health of 2 or 3 major enemies. Falling into a hole dug by Apophis will result in death. After the boss is down to 3 links, they will seperate and begin jutting from the holes dug by the boss originally whack-a-mole style. Their AOE will be a bit bigger than the hole and will *almost* kill a low armor guardian. These must be destroyed by meleeing them in the center to stun them (the segments will remain above ground for 2 or 3 seconds after "popping") Ikora, after boss is defeated - "The Chronovore of Mercury is undone. Only now may our efforts to halt Vex expansion be worthwhile. Just off the top of my head, wrote this up in the car. Hope it's enjoyable.

24 RepliesEdited by The Chosen: 10/2/2016 4:22:05 PMHere's an idea I had a while back, probably not a word-for-word recreation (due to me including SIVA as opposed to just a TTK April Update one) but it'll do. Strike name: Exile Exalted Boss location: Oversoul Throne

"Guardian? The Hive are up to something in Crota's Ascendant Realm... Find out what, and put an end to them once and for all." - Eris
Landing point is in the Stills. Make your way through the lamp puzzle, killing any Thrall in your way. At the 4th lamp, Ghost mentions picking up Fallen signatures. At the 6th lamp, Dregs start warping in to assist the Thrall.
"Fallen... Helping the Hive? What madness is this?" - Ghost

"Fight through. Ignore the annoyances. Find the source." - Eris
When you reach the bridge, and stand on the plate to start the door opening, instead of the Ogres that spawn, you will be assaulted by 3 Pilot Servitors. After crossing the chasm, there are three possible midboss encounters: 1: Ascendant Ogre and 3 Reaver Captains.
"Take out that Ogre, or we will never get through."
2: Makris, Exile Baroness and 3 Deathsingers (no team-wipes though).
"Great. If we kill this Baroness, the Vanguard will be happy."
3: Zontuk, the Strong-Willed (Knight) and Nixtor, Splicer Priest.
"Splicers? They're attacking the Hive and House of Exile!"
Either way, all majors must be destroyed before the far door will open. After the shrieker hall (empty except for some Acolytes and Vandals), the boss room is next. Fall into the final area to initiate the encounter. Boss: Ghengis, Kell of Exile And... Boss: Kahn, Matron of Exile
"Exile raised up a Kell!? And why is that Wizard helping him? ...and why are they named after a historical warlord?" - Ghost
This deadly duo proves to be a great battle. When they are near each other (shorter than tether range) they will gain a defense buff and slowly regen their health. While far apart (i.e. Guardians distract one from the other) they gain extra attack power. If either is killed, the other will gain both boosts. Adds include Hive up to Knight rank, and Fallen up to Captain. Add waves are at 90%, 75%, 50%, and 25% combined boss health. Three of Coins will work on both bosses. After defeating both, the Strike is over.
"Hive and Fallen, working together... Guardian, you have struck a major blow to both of their forces. Let's head back." - Ghost

Strike exlusive loot:
Exile's Will Exotic Pulse Rifle - Special Ammo "We will carve out a name for ourselves. We are Exiled... We are Exalted!" Fires like a Vandal's Shock Rifle (three slow firing, tracking shots.) Arc damage. --- Mark of Exile, Bond of Exile, Cloak of Exile Legendary Exile-themed class item to add to the collection. --- Eye of the Matron Legendary Artifact "Matron of Exile... Now exiled to the afterlife. - Eris" Class-agnostic Artifact that can be rerolled for 20 Wormspore and 10 Marks. Has a static perk that provides bonus damage to Hive.
So... What do you think?

2 RepliesThis isn't really a SIVAfied old strike but a completely new one. Name: Time's Reckoning Starting dialogue: Vance: Guardian, this is Brother Vance. Ghost: of the Trials of Osiris? What are you doing on this frequency? Vance: I need your help. There have been reports of cabal infantry setting down in Vex structures on Mercury. It is possible the are trying to use the technology there for advantages in future battles. Stop them before... Before they learn too much. You set down on the map Vertigo and see cabal wandering around. These are no ordinary cabal, though. This is a new sect of cabal called the Time Splitters. They have learned to use vex tech for their own purposes and are even decked out in some pieces of dead vex. You engage them and see they have some new abilities. They are now equipped with Slap rifles and torch hammers and some even have the ability to teleport short distances. Once all the cabal are taken out you head to the teleporter on the middle of the map and see a massive cabal centurion. You engage but it goes through the teleporter before you can attack. You go up to the teleporter and Ghost says... Ghost: well, here goes nothing. You go through and come out on the other side on a cabal warship and see that massive cabal from before. It's name is Lo'oun, Time Master. It is a massive cabal centurion with the head of a dead Chronovore strapped to its head and even has a small time gate on his back. You take down its health to 3 quarters before it teleports away. Ghost: that was unexpected. Vance: find that centurion, guardian, and defeat it before we run out of time. You head deeper into the cabal ship to find a tank which you and your fireteam promptly destroy Ghost: when will they learn tanks won't solve their problems? You are then guided to the next room in the ship which looks much like Ta'arac's room but with vex gates and structures along the sides. Lo'oun teleports in and the battle begins. At 50% health it runs into one of the teleporters and you have to fight agains a wave of Time Splitter legionaries. After you defeat them Lo'oun comes out of a teleporter in the opposite side if the room and you take it down. You have won! End dialogue: Vance: thank you guardian. I don't know what kind of chaos could've taken place if that mad beast continued in dabbling with things it didn't understand. If you return to me, I will reward you kindly. Rewards: Lo'oun's Timepiece: a red version of the pulse from VoG. Much like how the treads was a red Vision of confluence. It is the highest impact tier of pulse and passively comes with counterbalance. Time Masters Veil: this is the cloak from vog scaled to ROI light levels. I just made a lot if you happy didn't I. Leave me your comments and have a good one!

If the splicers can control the Hive, I don't even want to imagine what they would do with the Cabal. Stage 1 You land on the Barrens, in the distance you see a firefight between Fallen and Cabal. Push through this skirmish and move on to Rubicon Wastes. Petra Venj: Guardian, the crows have pinpointed where the bulk of the fallen assault is located, head north of the Rubicon wastes quickly! The charges are set, but Fallen have set up an abush, fend them off Guardian The charges blow up, time to head inside. Petra Venj: Guardian what do you see? Ghost: This facility, is a Psion Laboratory. Looks like they've had some nasty gunfights in these halls. Variks: Quickly Guardian, reach their Sanctuary before they perfect their new experiment! Guardians arrive at the Sanctuary, where the Psions have managed to replicate the fallens SIVA and have infused themselves with it. Ghost: This can't be!! The Psions have infused themselves with SIVA! Petra Venj: They have what!!? Variks: This is of no concern, the wolves have something much worse, however, this cannot be, kill them dead Guardian Guardians must eliminate Psion Flayer Vuk Ghost: The flayer is out for the count. Petra Venj: The crows are most likely dead in there, Variks, what is the position of the Fallen? Variks: They have infiltrated the Cabal stronghold where they once sat Orbiks as its throne Ghost: The Vex spire, Guardian let's go. Guardians follow a path through the Sanctuary that leads to the Vex Spire area. In the area, a cyclops have been deployed in front of the entrance, and in the area below and above legions of Cabal, Splciers, Hive and Vex are duking it out for domination Ghost: Vex?! Every race is here fighting! But for what? Variks: Splicers and Hive fight for the capture of the Bracus, the cabal fight for their home, and the Vex... The Vex worries me Petra Venj: What do you mean Variks? Are they retaking the spire? Variks: Worst... Vex seems to want their Gatelord to arrive here. Ghost: Guardian we are in for a nasty fight, I'll see if I can get us support. Shirk, come in Shiro! Shiro: I'm here ghost, read your reports too, now that is a nasty mess you got yourselves into. Ghost: We need more firepower, could you send some hawks our way? Shiro: I'll speaks with Cayde, or Zavala, since you know... He hates the Cabal. Lord Saladin: Young Wolf, use the power bestowed upon you by the Iron Lords. With it, you shall emerge victorious Ghost: That's it! Guardian, do you happen to have the Memory of Timur? That could help us a great deal here. Even Memory of Skorri, Felwinter, all the memories! Shiro: Heads up Guardian, Hawks are on the way Guardians must use everything at their command to make their way to the Spire. Upon reaching the spire, a menacing stand off ensues... Ghost: Oh boy... The descendant Gatelord readies an attack, time to fight Guardian! The gatelord is immune to all attacks, Guardians are in for it now Ghost: Guardian I figured it out!! See that conflux over there? Unleash your light in order to open the vex gate, and retrieved the Aegis shield from the Vault of Glass, with it we can then defeat the gatelord and end this!! Guardians must get super charged, and at least 2 of them must unleash their super energy on the conflux, open the vex gate, one of you get in and retrieve the Aegis Shield while the other 2 stay out and defend the Gate from closing. This is done until the Gatelord is no more. Ghost: We... We did it! We managed to survive and end a descendant from Atheon, this is a big victory for the Vanguard! The strike ends. But it is not over I have felt a presence from deep in the hellmouth I fear your new enemy the SIVA tech has breached the stills. DO NOT LET SIVA CROSS INTO THE HIVE REALM! GO TO THE STILLS AND GUARD THE CHASM. Strike loads and you are spawned at the bridge plate already built but SIVA tendrils are creeping from it descending into the hellmouth. Shiro- Guardian listen I know crazy lady was supposed to be in command but SIVAS here so now I am and if what I'm seeing is true well then you better JUMP DOWN THAT HOLE AND STOP IT! You and your team jump down the hole and descend to the stills where you see that all the lamps have been covered in SIVA and the platform you land on is covered in dead thrall and Knight husks. Eris- NO! GUARDIAN GET TO THE CHASM QUICKLY! Shiro- I'm with crazy lady Eris- (sigh) You run through the stills seeing progressively more hive husks on your way as you start to get near the chasm bridge plate your radar starts to pick up signatures. Eris- be carefull guardian. You get to the plate to see that a huge red flaming knight is digging its sword into the bridge plate with red flames and SIVA swarming around it. Eris- NO! NO! NO! STOP HIM GUARDIAN! Crota or so he was called turns around with his sword held high he summons waves of SIVA infused hive during the waves of hive the bridge will start to form also the SIVA crota will slowly chase after players like the ogre or aluk hull however players can stun him by simply shooting him until his shield go's down of which then he will kneel for a few seconds allowing all players to focus on smaller enemy's. This will go on for about a minuet then the bridge will fully form then crota will cross it along with a few SIVA swarms (any SIVA hive you where fighting despawn. Shiro- Eh Eris was that just.... Eris (enraged)- YOU TELL ME FOOL! GAURDIAN CROTA MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO LIVE AGAIN STOP HIM! You go through the portal to see that the entire throne world has been corrupted in SIVA WHERE THE OVERSOUL WAS NOW A GIENT KETCH AND A FEW SIVA TOMBSHIPS Shiro- I'm sure you recall me saying even if you need to get onto a tombship to get there yes? Then DO IT GAURDIAN! Since the bridge is broken it is replaced with a small non complex tombship jumping puzzle once all three players are across two mini ultra SIVA ogres will spawn killing each will drop SIVA charges which need to be thrown at the door to break it open once you are in the shrieker hallway just proceed to the end and drop down the hole to the main throne area. You now look up I to the ketch to see crota shielded in SIVA to start the fight go to the crystal room and collect a SIVA charge and throw it at crota this in turn starts the fight and adds start to spawn and crota will begin to attack. Eris and Shiro combined- YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO! Remixed version of the sword song plays CROTA THE PERFECTED mechanics: Normal attack: fires SIVA clusters at players and slows them down. Secondary/special attack: SIVA nanites start to swarm from the ketch and players are giving 12 seconds to rush to the middle/ chalice spot where a AOE aura surrounds it any players not in the aura when the 12 seconds are up gain a huge ammount of Lingering DoT, Ways to kill: crota will be invincible for the entire time until two ultra SIVA ogres are killed which drop SIVA charges needed to damage his shield when his shield is down he is open to damage until he goes below half in his health of which he gets his shield up again (simply rinse and repeat) till dead. Eris (when crota dies)-again and again I have to thank you for what you repel against you will go down in history for this. Shiro- well now with two three major hive/SIVA cases it makes you wounded if this war of light and darkness will ever end... But still for now good work gaurdien. Strike specific loot : Song of (replication) Machine gun Reskined song of ir yut Husk of machines Warlock robes SIVA infused deathsinger armour

some of these would be better off as solo missons. Bungie could implement these at a later date. The Guardians think they stopped the SIVA spread, but it was only biding its time.

Oh man, bump for later!

1 ReplyStrike: Cerbus Vae lll Shiro: Guardian the Devil Splicers have arrived on Mars and started a war with the Cabal Ghost: Why would the Splicers make such a bold move? Shiro: I don't know, maybe a show of force, or using the Cabal as Experiments. If this is done we can take out two birds with one stone. Strike continues as normal but with splicers fighting the Cabal When close the final fight ghost will say a line of dialogue. Ghost: I'm picking up some SIVA readings in that land tank. Better find out what's going on The guardians walk in to see Valus Tuarc (if I spelled that wrong my apologies) fighting off the Splicers, with SIVA covering him and the walls of the land tank, the fight goes on until Valus reaches 25% health. The SIVA on his armour will pulsate and spread until it covers him entirely Ghost: Whatever that thing is we can't let it leave the land tank! Fight continues with the SIVA infected Valus at 30% health and more splicers come in and fight for him. Once dead the SIVA will begin to violently pulsate and ghost will say this Ghost: Guardian the SIVA is gonna blow we need to get out. Players have 3:00 to fight through a few ads and escape the land tank with the Chest Spawning outside Shiro: Good work guardian you stopped a SIVA infected beast, drinks on me. Strike Gear Mark of Changes: Titan Mark Has some pieces of Valus's armour and SIVA on it The Infection: Rocket Launcher A Rocket that has a similar model to the Hezen Vengeance rocket from VOG.

4 Replies The Devil's Due Location: Ishtar Sink, Venus - Vault of Glass Ghost: Incoming transmission from Zavala. Marked Priority. Zavala: We have a situation that requires immediate attention. We are getting readings of SIVA nanotechnology around the Vault of Glass. I don't know what the Devils are doing there, but we cannot allow them access to anything as advanced as Vex technology. Any Guardians in the area are to rendezvous at the following coordinates and eradicate any Fallen they come across. Ghost: I've already sent word that we are on route...whoever said Monday's were boring? Spawn in at the entry to the Vault of Glass to see the spire - infected by SIVA - and the remains of a Gatelord. Objective: Scan the Gatelord. Ghost: Several key systems are missing. This isn't good, it looks like something was actively combating the firewalls put in place within this units central processor...wait...something was just triggered... Remember when we woke the Hive? Well I think we just woke the Vex, an order for an assault on this area was just issued. Several Vex Hydras, Hobgoblins and Minotaurs teleport in. Zavala: We can't afford any delays, do NOT let the Vex distract you...SIVA is the real threat here Objective: Catch up to the Devil Splicers in time. 10 minute timer appears. Proceed through the vault until you reach the Vault proper (Atheon's chamber). Boss: Sresiks, Splicer Priest Ikora: That is Sresiks, my Hidden have been tracking him ever since he emerged reborn from the Archon's Forge...what is he doing here? Ghost: It looks like he has fused himself with the technology he salvaged from the Gatelord. I think he might be trying to pull Atheon out of time to do the same...you don't think that's possible do you? Zavala: End him. Several dregs and vandals surround boss; while they are alive they increase SIVA density. SIVA density must be brought below 30% before boss can be damaged. Dregs and vandals teleport in at 45 second intervals. Zavala: Well done Guardian, had the Devils successfully incorporated Vex technology into themselves there is no telling what SIVA would have been capable of. Strike Specific Loot: Atheon's Epilogue (Perfected) SIVA-skinned Atheon's Epilogue. Edited by TheBigCheese619: 10/3/2016 8:21:05 AMStrike name: The Exiled Ones' Location: The moon Enemies: Fallen, Hive Description: Return to the moon once more to eliminate a House of Exile archon priest that has been infected with SIVA. Shiro: "Zavala has recieved a report from scouts from Dead Orbit, reporting that the House of Exile has elected an archon priest. According to the scouts, the archon priest was contacted by the House of Devils and went to earth for a little visit. This can only mean that the Devils invited him to fuse his body with SIVA. They've only been tampering with the virus for such a short time and now they're making plans to spread it among the other houses. We've just reclaimed the moon from Crota, we cannot lose it again to the Fallen."

Make multiple (3-4) versions of EVERY STRIKE. Old and New. With different enemies and different bosses on different versions of any given Strike. Then allow us to view all the available strikes and select the ones we want in the rotation and deselect the ones we don't want in the rotation. As we play, Bungie can see which strikes aren't getting played and they can improve those strikes by adding new twists or adding new exclusive loot for that strike. They should continue to update strikes and add new ones every month or so...

1 ReplyThe problem wirh RoI's story is that we destroyed SIVA before it became a threat. It didn't have time to spread and "infect" the other races. Only one Fallen House got augmented. Having SIVA on Venus, or SIVA modified Cabal wouldn't make sense story wise. But -blam!- the story, nobody cares about it. I want loot.

remove taken. I helped.

Edited by DaJuan Hoonoks: 10/3/2016 4:12:37 AMI thought we were going to see Siva stuff on the dreadnaught, because if you go into the dungeons in a private match you can see the corpse of a vandal in the pit. Maybe it's there on regular matches I have just been too engaged to look.

Edited by SpartanLane54: 10/3/2016 4:19:26 AMThe Nexus Shiro-4: Guardian, we got a problem. The Splicers have started to experiment the with Vex, the have created stronghold in the nexus on the Ishtar sink Ghost: How did the Fallen infect the Vex Shiro-4: The Splicers are crafty, and ambitious willing to risk anything just to try something new. Get in the and clear them out. The strike goes as normal but just has splicers and new a SIVA infected Nexus. End game chat. Shiro-4: Good job guardian. If those splicers gained control of any more vex we would of had a big problem on our hands. Ghost: Yeah, let's hope that the splicers never get ahold of any more Vex tech. Bunker 9 Shiro-4: Guardian, there are reports of Splicers digging into an old nuclear launch station in the Plague Lands. Ghost: What would the fallen want with an old nuclear launch station? Shiro-4: SIVA has regenerative powers. If the Splicers unleash SIVA in that station, the Splicers could wipe out the city in a large mushroom cloud. The strike is in a new area of the Plague Lands that takes you into a pre-golden age bunker. End game chat Shiro-4: Good work guardian. If you hadn't taken out those splicers the city would've been in a mushroom cloud.
Strike specific loot Launch Codes: Legendary rocket launcher. (Looks like a Halo rocket launcher)
Edited by S1lverdragon701: 10/3/2016 2:39:35 AMThe Dust Palace: Shiro-4 "Guardian, we've got some more bad news. The Fallen are making a bid for control of the Clovis Bray installations on Mars, and the other SIVA prototypes. There's heavy fighting between the cabal and a group of splicers near the cortex. Ghost: "I thought the cabal had driven the Splicers off...?" Veriks "Not Devil splicers, Guuuaarddian. Wolves. Exile. They hear of your SIVA, and go looking for it." Shiro: "How did you get on-" Veriks: "The Reef is interested in this SIVA as well, Guardian. And it sounded like you could use help. Find the Exile Splicers. Kill them, and destroy what SIVA you find." Throughout the strike, Fallen and Cabal would be fighting, and the miniboss would be a large Cabal Colossus named Bracus Ca'aer, who is on the stairway before the Cortex room. As you move up the tower, the amount of Fallen influence grows, and the more fighting there is. There would be no SIVA fallen, not until the final platform anyway. The glowing tube on the landing bay would be replaced by a capsule of SIVA, spilling open and infecting the area.. The fallen would be Exile, led by Wolf yellow-bars. The bosses are a Splicer priest named Kralis, the Fated, who uses four lightning-blades and quick teleportation. and a Wolf walker, which is situated on the drop-zone area of the Nexus. If Kralis dies, the tank becomes SIVA-fied and begins releasing dozens of the tracking bolts that come from headshots on splicers(forget name). If the tank dies, Kralis gains an attack which teleports guardian's towards him, for easy stabbings. After-mission dialogue: Shiro: I'm glad we got here when we did. We can barely deal with one fallen house with SIVA. Veriks: Hah! Exile is weak. SIVA would only tear them apart. They would not know what to do with such power. The Wolves though... They are... Concerning. The Crows will recover the SIVA for study. Excellent work, guardian.
