How do I get a high light ghost?
I can't seem to get a ghost and it's holding me back

Use consumable items "ecstacy", "shrooms", and "marijuana" on your ghost. Take it to a laser light show. Your ghost is now high on light. Profit.

6 RepliesFaction packages and raid- i went from 5 rank to 36 in a week with new Monarchy and never once got a shell, I went from 10 rank to 21 rank with vanguard and never got a shell, it's getting ridiculous how the loot system is. Hours grinded for 3 days and I'm still stuck at 375 cause of my damn ghost shell.

I will at some point step into the raid and take my chances. Artifacts are easy to come by. I normally get w Blue one at higher than what I have light with Skeleton Key drops. Ghost shells though are a pain in the ass. I got a dead orbit ghost at 365 a week ago and havnt had one drop higher than that since.

Im having the same problem I've only gotten blue 365 from strikes but thats where Im stuck. I've opened about 30 faction/vanguard/crucible packages and can I fek get one. This update is getting old really fast.

I needed one above 355 and just could not get one. Finally last night I got a 361 from a vanguard package. Seems the rank ups are best chance so use those motes, heavy synths, and materials to rank up.

Faction/crucible/vanguard packages are your best bet, but the raid is a good chance as well.

Ghosts from faction packages are pretty rare. I've only seen 2 or 3 in about 15 packages. Hopefully IB will give us higher LL gear

It's actually not. Your hunter is 368.9 with your highest weapons equipped. So 1 light in any point will take you up to 369 but to get to 370 will be hard. If you'd put your best artifact on your hunter you'd be 369.4 and then you could still get all your weapons upgraded. So it's not only your ghost holding you back

We get nothing but Ghosts all of -blam!-ing Year 2 (looking at you Nightfall) and now when we actually do need them they don't drop. GG Bungie.

Rng man Even bungie admitted there drop rate is lower then it should be in their last weekly update. Still no word on what I get are doing about it

Eris finally gave me a 385 artifact last night after ranking her up 3 times. Iron Banner should have both next week!

Yep me too not had a single ghost from a rank package of any sort yet and getting plenty of packages too

Ghost and artifacts are killing me can't seem 2 get any to drop at a high light level in 384 but have a 376 ghost and 379 artifact

1 ReplyI was stuck with a 352 Ghost for days. I played 2 hours on the heroic playlist and 4th strike in got a 362 blue Ghost drop. They're out there

Edited by CookieNiki: 10/1/2016 2:28:08 PMThe better and quicker way is to buy one from Vanguard or from one of the factions. I bought mine from Cayde, it's 350 light. High level ghosts are really difficult to get through RNG
