It was annoying as hell. Good ridence. The past week of griding heroic strikes have been that much worse because people were dropping every strike while they were searching for the one they want. Usually Omnigal. And Everytime it came up I would play through out of respect of my fellow players and also my vanguard streak. On three separate occasions a player would demand I farm with them or that I leave the strike. I would just go to the next room and kill her myself while getting spammed with invites or insults or both. Here is a PSA to all guardians who don't know how things work. If you want to play a certain strike for farming or skeleton chest go to the director and pick the strike you want to play and select the 320 version and stay the hell out if the playlist. No one wants to deal with your shit and you are ruining other people's experiences. If you want to cheese or exploit the game go on lfg and find other like minded people and leave everyone else alone.
