Exotics and exotic engrams pushed out of Post Master for green class items?!?
Exotics pushed out of Post Master for Green class items?!?
Are you kidding me?!? I just did the raid. Had 2 exotic engrams and 2 exotics go straight to the mailbox from the chests. Also had 4 legendaries. I know this because I checked my Post Master after not seeing anything pop when I opened the chests. Then because of your inane thoughtlessness of having green class items go to your mailbox, I lost them all except for one legendary engram!!!!! There had to be over 30 engrams on the ground after each boss fight!! There is no way to collect every single one and either delete them or hold them on your character. Can you imagine my anger and frustration upon finding out that those exotics, that I knew would decode at 365 or higher, were now gone thanks to lowly 190 class items?!? You need to fix this and promptly because I guarantee you that I am not the only one this has and will happen to!!!

I only had 6 items in every slot, leaving 3 opens slots for drops and was deleting all blue engrams and green items as I could. 3. The exotics and legendaries that I lost went straight to the Post Master EVEN though I had available spaces!! 4. I checked my Post Master multiple times through out the raid which I did through the Ishtar Commander app. It showed my exotics and legendaries only because, like several have mentioned, you won't see the blue and greens until going to orbit. 5. Green class items should NOT be going to the Post Master!! This was my main issue. I didn't have enough blue engrams that they would have pushed my items out. 6. As anyone who has actually went through the raid should know, you can't leave the raid and go to the tower to clean out your Post Master if you are trying for the exotic pulse rifle quest. 7. Before Rise of Iron, I have NEVER had my Post Master fill up and especially not with 9 green class items. 8. I appreciate all the support from others who know what a pain in the ass these issues cause. 9. I am a "she" not a "he. So go ahead and tell me how being female is the problem. It doesn't mitigate the fact that GREEN items should never be going to the Post Master. 10. Yes, green class items do go to the Post Master! If this has not happened to you, then yay for you!! Doesn't mean that it doesn't happen to others. 11. I don't need people replying that only want to show themselves and act like children. Grow up!

19 RepliesUser error That's why you either 1. Stop hoarding, this is your fault. 2. Delete those stupid blue engrams, pick up your legendary or exotic ones and move them into your vault from an app. 3. Stop posting and looking dumb without research. If you did, you would see this is a very common problem for people lately. It's called empty your fuccking postmaster. There's plenty wrong with the game still, this is what's still wrong with the community.

Why don't you clear out blues and greens after each fight? Again. You have time to before the fight. 3. If you seen exotics and legendaries on the ground delete crap to pick them up. That is on your recklessness and it takes one bad experience to learn. Good luck guardian my RNGesus bless you for many more raids.

5 RepliesGreen egrams don't go to you're postmaster. Visit the postmaster more often. Carry less gear on your character. If you're using destiny item manager, set it to put engrams in the vault.

Yes, under no circumstances should green anything be sent to the postmaster. Hopefully a fix comes soon.

keep your postmaster clear at all times, before you log off do some 'housework' at the Tower.... Problem solved! If by some chance you're teh only person in the world of Destiny players that didn't know old postmaster stuff gets pushed for new when it's full, I feel sorry for you. Other wise I just don't!

5 RepliesConsidering that dismantling them gives glimmer and parts then yea. They should go to the postmaster. This isn't the only game where if you don't manage your inventory you miss out on shit. People got to stop being so entitled... Also after every boss fight there are loading screens which give plenty of time...

If they're going to cap the post master at all, they need to do it like this. Prioritize drops. Exotics and E-engrams take highest priority. Second priority is rare legendaries (raid gear, strike exclusive drops from chests, etc). Then legendary engrams, then rare. If your post master is full, any drop that is higher than a blue gets pushed out. Only time you risk losing something useful is when all of your blue engrams have been excreted out of the system. Personally I don't think the post master should have a cap at all. A friend lost some good stuff while doing Archons Forge on the first six person crew we've ever found there. He was bummed, and I was pissed...

It's annoying having to go into the inventory and deleting every green engram. Armor materials aren't even rare anymore because you can simply buy them from the gunsmith. I don't want to run around in PvE gliding over green engrams while at the same time trying to stay alive from enemies.

7 RepliesBut things didnt used to get pushed out,Ive lost raid gear because post master was full when it dropped so it hasnt adlways been that way. I keep getting told its been like this since day 1 but my post master has never pused things out only left them on the floor when it was full otherwise they would of gone to the post master. When I see hawkmoon drop from warpreist but I cant pick it up & it doesnt go to post master what does that mean or am I just lying.

Happened to me and my fireteam in the forge, I lost several legendary items and so did my teammate. Greens and blues flooded my post and pushed out all but 2 legendary items. Green items should auto delete into materials after a certain light level. Its is not the OP's fault inany sense its Bungies for not listening to the many requests for more vault and postmaster space before ROI came out all well knowing they were going to drop new inventory.

10 RepliesGreens will not go to the Postmaster. Only blues and exotics. If you want to avoid items being deleted "lock" them when they're still with the Postmaster and they won't be deleted.

Green is the new yellow baby. The greens drop so the players can go back to a lower light level to make the game be more challenging. We don't need high light level, we just need the challenge yeah, boiiiii
