It comes up as classified, Bungie has to update the database.

No you have to acquire the quest/weapon to view it on the app. Its always been this way with secret items

I don't know about that. I specifically remember when I acquired Black Spindle and No Time to Explain I could not view them in the app. When the database was updated then I was able to view and move them to and from characters.

Yes, but those who had yet to acquire them or their quest, would still see them as being classified.
