Looking to build gaming computer

As the title says I'm looking to build a gaming computer, but I would also need it to run office programs. Any parts in particular that are good for both? My list so far is: Intel Core i5 6600k 32 GB DDR4 2133 MHz RAM gtx 1060 480 GB ADATA SSD 1 TB Hybrid Seagate HDD Wifi PCIe card Blu-ray/DVD/CD Reader/Writer 650 Watt power source

  • MS office suite will run fine on an i3. There is no point in getting an i7 unless you're going to be using very intense programs for 3d model rendering, video editing heavily every day, etc. You'll be fine with an i5 6600k. Then take that extra money you save on the cpu and put it into your gpu. You should be able to get a Gtx 1070, 980ti, or R9 FuryX all of which are a significant upgrade and perform roughly the same.
