It's solar burn and small arms. Perfect time to break out a Y1 primary with solar burn and actually be able to kill stuff.

When that comes round for me again I'm doing the same as the first time. Hunter gunslinger with void rocket launcher and atheons epilogue. I heard the new quest for thorn has removed the deaths will set you back part is this true?

Hell yeah. I did three games trying to use a void sniper for the kills. Only getting like 9% a game. Then I remembered that I had a void primary in my vault. Finished it 3 games later.

Thing is, it drops your light level. Unless you switch to a higher leveled weapon before the boss dies; you're getting shafted with shitty gear.
