Flame brothers UNITE! It's gonna be like Recon in Halo 3. Everyone assumed that you're wearing because it makes you cool and that no one else has it. I got all sorts of comments like "O U THINK UR SO COOL AND LEET CAUSE YOU HAVE RECON" when I didn't mention anything about my armor whatsoever. I just wore it because I liked how it looked. It's gonna be the same deal with my flaming helmet. I know lots of other people have it, I just want to have a FLAMING HEAD! I mean come on! A FLAMING HEAD!

Great marketing idea from Bungie(moneymoneymoney)flaming head has great appeal. I'm sure they will get alot of sales because they included this. Think about it, if the flaming head wasn't "for sale" how many ppl would get legendary edition, as oppose to if they added a tangible item?

its a great idea for bungie, that alone will convince multiple people to get legendary, but it will be quite annoying seeing other people than bungie with flaming heads, considering i have almost 4k matchmaking games.

I know i will probly use it every once in awile and im sure 50% or more will not use it all the time. Im getting legendary for the game, statue and book-thing. Not the flaming head. Still going to use it every now and then though.

I know personally at least 10 people that are buying the game the first day it comes out. I'm the only one that is purchasing the Legendary edition. I think you're view of how many people will actually have this is somewhat sckewed by looking at the forums. The people who post here are normally more hardcore fans. Thusly they are willing to spend considerably more.

a lot of people who browse these forums will probably get legendary, and we know this because they publicly brag about spending 150 dollars on a 60 dollar game. you don't know -blam!- about how many gamers are actually going to get legendary edition. do you honestly think millions of halo gamers can afford a 150-dollar package when the game itself is less than half the price? die hard halo fans are the ones sacrificing their next week's meals for a game. and those die hard fans make a very small percentage of the total community. i'm getting standard edition, because i know how to save my money and not let all of it go on a statue that i'll never look at and a few extra pixels on my spartan's head. I'm getting the legendary because this is the last Bungie made Halo so... the last good one and i've been with the franchise from the beginning to the end, but I'm not in it for the digital flair. You won't see me on fire :)

If you did your research 1. There is going to be less Legendary Versions of the Game than Halo 3 had of theirs. 2. People can buy whatever they choose, doesnt have to be a good reason. 3. If there is less legendary versions out there, (like bungie said there will be), it will make it more rare and unique. Basically if you dont preorder Legendary version your not going to get it.

I am not trying to be rude or anything, and i agree that for the first month or so there will be a lot of Flaming Heads, but "The legendary edition will be VERY limited in quantity". So far there has only been about 300,000 preorders give or take, and that is spanned out over ALL the editions. There will most definently NOT be millions of people wearing the Flaming Helmet as you have stated. BTW, please stop insulting people by calling them morons and idiots. Just because they don't agree with your opinion doesnt't mean you have to insult them.
