No they're fine, I get one about every 5 heroic strikes and that's incredibly fair IMO. Before skeleton keys you had to run these strikes like 20 times to get a strike drop, or farm the nightfall.
By the way they don't drop in the 320 strikes as far as I know so if you've been farming those then move up to the 350 strikes and see what's up.
Edit: somebody confirmed they DO drop from 320 strikes. But I still think you'd be better off running the 350s

I loved farming omnigul when she was nightfall. Didn't even care if I got grasp.

Ran about 10 strikes in heroic playlists (limited time to play) Never seen one drop for me or teammates.

Hmm well I'm sure Bungie will look into it, and theyll have numbers from way more people than we've got here. But this has, IMO, always been a problem with the rng in Destiny, it just gives people dry spells, it should be averaging out to be about the same for everybody. Maybe there hasn't been enough time for that to happen yet, but it's always confused my how it's possible for people to just go dry, I've never seen another rng based game where that's happened.

Ran 20 strikes yesterday for M.oT. book. Got 3 keys to drop. So, yes, they do drop in 320 syrikes

Ran strikes for 2 and a half hours yesterday, and got 0 keys. Overall with all the heroics I have run since release, I have gotten 1. If you are getting one every five strikes, you are very lucky imo, or I have shit for luck.

Well that's the other thing, I don't get how Destiny's rng works. It should average out to be the same for everybody, but their rng is all over the place. I had this happen with the nightfall back when vanilla destiny dropped. I ran three a week and from mid October to about 2 weeks into December I didn't get a single exotic drop. My friends were getting at least one a week. But we'll see, if everybody is in your boat and I'm just really lucky right now, then they'll probably change the drop rate.

So it's a little strange IMO. And I be fine with Xur selling them, maybe limit how many you can buy each week, say like 5-10

Yeah, hard thing with Xur, is limiting people so it doesn't get out of hand, but still keeping it fair. Best thing they can do is probably just jack the price up.

You have shit luck, I've seen an average of 1 dropping per 5-7 strikes usually for me and many others
