Edited by zxionisus: 9/27/2016 1:42:24 PMAES-CBC stands for "advanced encryption standard - cipher block chaining" - a mode of operation where a sequence of bits are encrypted as a single block with a cipher key. Bungie is cluing us into the type of cipher they used in order for us to decrypt the message.
