This is the second time I made a post like this, but this stuff is a serious issue for me. Whenever I try to play crucible without a fireteam every single game and I mean EVERY game matchmaking matches me against teams of 3 and gives me people who struggle to maintain a positive K/D/A, this is seriously terrible because the odds are so stacked against me, it's almost impossible to practice for Trials without my friends.
Edit: This came out wrong, but what I'm saying is that Bungie's matchmaking algorithms pit you against coordinated fireteams when your not in one yourself, which, inherently is unfair.

Rumble is your friend.
-
I honestly know exactly what you mean. It seems like even if I get 20+ kills in Skirmish and maintain a 2.0+ k/d, I will still lose because I have team mates that go 2 and 11 or something.
-
About 80% of the 3v3s I've solo queued into have been against fireteams, but on the other hand my solo teams have won a fair share against them. Just because they are grouped doesn't mean they are going to play better than you. It just means they can lick each other's asses and giggle over a mic together.
-
So you're trying to practice for a team based event that doesn't let you play unless you have a set team by solo queueing into the practice version of it? And then blaming bungie?
-
You dont play in a group you're screwed. Period.
-
I play 99% solo. In crucible I play with whatever the system decides the 'team' consists of. We win, we lose, but I always have fun. Don't take this seriously and you may find friends in random matchmaking in PVP. Just a suggestion.
LFG is made of randoms finding friends just like matchmaking.
-
So you want to practice for a team event by playing solo? Unclear on the concept
-
You play solo(with poopy match made teammates)against a team and can't win. Then blame bungie? Did I read that wrong?
-
I love going up against 6 man fireteams and having a part in dismantling them as a bunch of singles. So much more pleasing to win
-
Jesus please

Can't put up a fight against a decent team of 3 in a regular playlist... Sounds like someone doesn't belong in Trials at all.
Btw that's the best time to practice.
I always get Stacks in 3v3s and 6v6s...its so ridiculous. I've started leaving matchmaking before the match starts because it's not fun in the slightest going up against sweaties all the time. I thought Trials was for that, but they've brought that into regular Crucible.
-
Another reason why we need a ranked, skill-based playlist. If there was actually SBMM, then good players wouldn't have to carry nosebleeds who were added just bring down the win ratio.
-
because the odds are so stacked against me, it's almost impossible to practice for Trials without my friends.
That's actually the best time to practice. Or did you want to practice while you were getting carried?
-
Git gud.
-
I haven't really experience any problems with pvp tbh. For the first time since God knows when, it feels balanced. Have in mind I have only played supremacy, on my hunter.
BTW, I've been using my PS VITA as controller and it's fuken dreadful but I'm still able to mop the floor with the tears of the oppo. ;D
EVERY game my ass
it's almost impossible to practice for Trials without my friends.
......... not sure if serious, or trolling..........
-
"Impossible to practice for trials without my friends" Yup solo play is a great way to practice for team play...... 😣
-
I know, but sometimes you gotta learn their tactics and try to change your playstyle in that match, I once got matched with a fireteam of 3, they were all shotgun rushers, so I equipped my Queen's choice and a fast firing auto (Monte Carlo for example) and I won at last.
-
Can't pick your fireteam in matchmaking, either don't go in without a team, or do. Either way, stfu.

It's call freelance

What exactly are you asking them to do? Make special parameters just for you so that you can have it easier matches?
-
You've got options though. Either embrace it and practise 1 v 3 scenarios, or practise with your entire team together.
