Most definitely earned that gjallarhorn. I was able to buy it of xur in the second week with an exotic helmet to! Cause I didn't buy anything the first week. It was destiny for me to buy the gally

Except, I know that it was the weapon Xur sold IN HIS SECOND WEEK. The majority of people didn't buy it and by the time they realized what they missed out on, it was too late. Don't be that asshat that claims you earned it. You did nothing except run things that had a random chance of it dropping. Some people got it on their first raid run through. Some had to run 40 nightfalls to get it. You cannot earn something that is random. That's like saying you earned the money when you win the lottery because you spent thousands of dollars buying lottery tickets.

I earned mine in y1, but tripping over an engram at the loot cave which decrypted into the gjallarhorn. [spoiler]seriously, the whole earned argument is ridiculous, only weapons earned are from quests, everything else is just getting lucky [/spoiler]
