A question for OP. Why speak of Solm in the plural? He's obviously not royalty, and even then it's still okay to speak of him singularly. Even Petra speaks of Mara Sov as "she" and "her." I'm loving your writing, and the story is good. This is the only thing driving me nuts. XD

Their and they can be used for a singular person, especially if they're gender neutral (not identifying as male or female regardless of biological sex).
