Edit: hopefully 2.4.1 update on tuesday brings more space. They gave a preview of the update. Hopefully theres more...
Edit: 2.4.2 brought no extra space. I'm a sad cookie and this sucks.
Edit: festival of the lost bringing new stufff! Bungieee give us spacee to keep thingss. Only then can i pay you in silver for treasure bagssss

I am constantly deleting stuff that has one bad perk and I only keep one piece of every armor, none of my armor is duplicates, I am constantly reevaluating my wepons, trying to hold on to only God teir stuff, year one player, still struggling with vault space, trying to get my light up, trying hard to hoard exotic engrams, I spend two ours playing and one hour managing my vault this IB banner added more stuff to my bulging vault, I am willing to pay for vault space, haven't picked up my recorded book rewards yet, here's 100 dollars bungie now give me my vault space.!

1 ReplyCollections are a huge part of gaming. Whether it be emblems, medals, trophies, weapons or armors, it gives players an opportunity to work hard towards goals they can set themselves. A lot of gamers will grind for certain items and I'm sure it won't be easy to part ways with said items. Between all the new content, there just simply isn't enough space for a collection. I'm sure you could even charge us for more vault space and us collectors would pay for it! Just another community member asking to implement more vault space soon. Please!! ... I just can't start the raid without more vault space. Deleting items hurt my chest. Maybe i got a problem. I've heard good things about the raid too! Can't wait for that vault space and to give that raid a first run! Thanks!

2 Repliesi hear you. ever since TTK i have had trouble with vault space. i have (or HAD) year one sets I DID NOT WANT to delete but had to cause I could not reach the required light level needed for end game activities. And now I'm stuck, unable to claim my iron lord set, do the raid, get new gear, do trials and with mere hours before Iron Banner, i feel bummed that I wont be able to do that as well. Come on Bungie. This is -blam!-ing ridiculous now. hey @Deej @Cosmo @Bungie and whoever devs on this game, give us something that would benefit us guardians, why dont you?

I bought the Rise of Iron, all I could do is the campaign. I can't raid or play Trials of Osiris, my post master is full. I now delete engrams when I get them as it takes too long to run from post master to cryptarch with 1 engram at a time. I need more vault space. Im a year 1 player and I love collecting these items. Don't get me wrong, Destiny is an amazing game, BUT I will not be playing it repetitively on a daily basis if it wasn't for these gear. Most of us won't. I sometime grind strikes for hours and hours for gear, but now I can't till I get more vault space. Bungie said they implement it soon after the Rise of Iron drops, guess we just have to wait. I'm even thinking of starting 3 new characters on a new account. It's getting bad here.

1 ReplyYou can add me to the lengthy and growing list of people who lost items from their Postmaster storage. Yes, I know we aren't supposed to use the "Lost Items" section at the Postmaster for storage, but with such inadequate storage space, what did they expect? They said they couldn't give us more storage space because of legacy consoles. Now they have dropped legacy consoles, but instead of more storage, they gave us falling snow in the Plaguelands. If I don't get at least double my current vault size, I'm not sure I can keep playing. As it is, it feels like I'm spending 90% of my playtime on inventory management. It would help if inventory management wasn't so primitive.

4 RepliesHaha how are most of the people on this thread low on vault space? There's PLENTY of it now. Let go of your old gear and that pointless nostalgia. If you really aren't going to use it, break it down for materials. Trust me I get that it's hard to part with your old gear but I'm so glad I did and didn't look back. I'm not hurting for materials as a result, I have more than enough vault space, and I don't have to wade through tons of gear I'll never use again to find stuff in the vault. I did away with my all my old raid sets and weapons, with the exception of Fatebringer and Praedyth's Revenge. Sharded all my Y1 exotics except Pocket Infinity, Icebreaker, Gjallarhorn and Thorn (and those last two are getting the axe as soon as I have the Y3 versions). It took a lot of self-convincing at first to start dismantling stuff, but after the first few items it became easier every time I broke something down. I think those of you hoarding your old gear would thank yourselves later for breaking it all down, minus a few choice items, like I did. I don't miss it at all. Make a fun game out of it. For example, before dismantling my VoG gear, I ran the Vault with it all equipped, using only Vault weapons, one last time. It's a nice way to say goodbye to gear that serves no purpose anymore.

15 RepliesYes - they left old gen behind. They need to make a legendary vault allowing access to all legendary weapons and armour unlocked. No more vault issues then cause people can just grab from the kiosk

1 ReplyTo be honest, if Bungie would implement the kiosk system for ALL legendary and exotics weapons and gear then vault space is not an issue. I think the biggest reason people are consuming vault space it to keep sets of gear they are collecting, but not necessarily using. Expanding the Kiosk system for this would be a very welcomed and helpful change.

Been playing since alpha. We weren't pack rats in year 1. Fast forward year 3 I want more space because I have complete sets of all raids (minus wotm ) ib, too, exotics and more For all three classes. Some stuff is unobtainable anymore and/or i don't want to grind, and its fun to dress up vog gear in crucible sometimes or y1 ib. Im crying with the pups for vault space. However, They don't know pain like the veterans though. What was it, 24 ? fml
