I swear every time I think that they will learn from their mistakes and it will get better and every time it's worse. Sigh................

Yea, glad I saved my money, no optional match making, no separation of PvP and PvE, this game is going nowhere fast👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

A year and a half to make what little content they had to offer. This expansion should of been added 6 months ago. So knowing Bungie can't add any actual content to this game that actually expands it or even keep it relavent. There was no point on buying it.

Edited by Kone19ps: 9/26/2016 8:13:34 PMI trusted them when they said strike specifics would be easier to get but the rng of both keys and the chests are so bad that's a lie
-
Theyll keep making crappy offerings because the fanboys lap it up and pay the price no matter what. They'd probably say it was worth it paying $60 just for a half hour raid.
-
I love the expansions and I think they are well worth the money.
-
The first two dlc were great since when my God has it gone down hill.

enjoy it. http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2016/09/destiny-rise-of-iron-impressions-the-thin-road-to-destiny-2/

This is why I didn't buy rise of iron.

I already gave my opinion why this happened. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/213698533?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=1

Edited by InfinityDrags: 9/26/2016 7:15:39 PMWhy is it never a guy with max grimoire and 2000+ hours saying this? It's always people like you that don't even play the game to its full extend. Don't talk like you speak for the community.

Edited by Ninja_Lazer: 9/26/2016 6:48:45 AMNow I understand that taste and preferences are subjective...but to say that Destiny hasn't improved (and is in fact worse) since vanilla is just factually inaccurate. All the changes have both ups and downs, and are usually in response to community feedback. For example: why is Wrath of the Machine shorter and simpler? Because the player base made the following complaints (especially about King's Fall): - raid takes too much time - don't like mandatory wipe mechanics - don't like inexperienced players ruining entire raid teams Another example: why are there skeleton keys? Because the player base complained about loot being completely randomized within strikes. People didn't want to have to farm Omnigul over and over and over for that Grasp. So Bungie made a system where you can grind other strikes and choose the loot pool you want your reward from. This is also likely why the raid armour can be re-rolled. Why is the story shorter? Because people asked for a more cinematic experience (and that shit costs money and time - yes Bungie has the resources to do a full game on that scale, but this was an unplanned DLC, since Destiny 2 got delayed). Why does it take longer to grind up in level? Because people didn't like the light system in year 1 and complained in year 2 that it was too easy to get to max light quickly; Bungie wants you to play longer as well, as a large active player base is good for business. Why do ornaments from Xur cost so much? Because people complained that exotics don't feel exotic like they did in year 1; so they made skins that are hard to acquire - so that you would be excited when you get them (as was the case with weapons in year 1). I could go on, but hopefully you get the point. The game is significantly better than vanilla, and many of the changes have been implemented due to community feedback.

I decided to stand by what I said after the house of wolves "never buying dlc for this game again." I did however play the dlcs thanks to a friend having my xbox set as his home one and all I can say is I am glad I never bought them.
-
It's that most people are already super invested in the game, in both hours and money spent.. Then that FOMO (fear of missing out) gets a hold of you, and you buy the expansion only to be disappointed again. But you've spent the money now and can't get a refund, so you play anyway. The cycle then continues...
-
You knew what they were adding, yet you still bought it. Wym?

What are your issues exactly? I think its great and pretty as advertised. We were told that Rise of Iron was marginally smaller than Taken King long before it came out. If you break down the aspects of the expansion: Story: What, 5-6 story missions? Thats pretty par for the course for these expansions. Taken King only had 6 main story missions as well. Endgame Quests: Things like Gjallarhorn and Khvostov quests. They were in both RoI and TTK. We don't even have all of them from RoI yet. There's likely a fair bit of stuff timegated as usual. Strikes: Wretched Eye is brand new. Phogoth and Sepiks are overhauled. New Phogoth is probably my favorite strike in the whole game. There's definitely a little less meat on the bone as compared to TTK here. 3 strikes (1 new, 2 redux) in RoI versus Alak-Hul, Shield Bros, SABER and the Taken-reduxed Y1 Strikes. But I'd take Phogoth and Sepiks any day over the god damned Taken reduxes. Raid: My lord, Wrath of the Machine is infinitely more fun than King's Fall. It's a touch shorter, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. And the gear is much better looking than the cartoon steak garbage from KF. Gear: IMO, the gear and weapons from this expansion are some of the nicest. Now, if you had a problem with both Taken King and Rise of Iron, why are you still playing this game? TDB and HoW were nothing special, so you've now bought FOUR expansions and feel slighted. Time to either lower your expectations or move on, methinks.

What's going on here?

Another one sees the truth of what bungo really is. A craptivi$ion clone. See you in Titanfall 2
-
Sad part is there are plenty of players feeling just like you now. . . . . . . . . . . . but heartbreaking when most of those same players will still buy the next dlc!
-
Simple solution is don't buy it.

This is the best feedback on this site: 100% complaint, 0% actual feedback.

I'm always glad when people like you quit. Here's hoping you leave us alone.
-

I swear every time I think that moaning gamers will learn from their mistakes and not buy another Destiny DLC, even more of them crop up on this forum!
