I should've saved engrams
Getting to 350 is a pain in the anal

1 ReplyGood for you, other retards in this community decided to stack exotic engrams, rank up all your factions and get the close to ranking up again, stack up thousands of heavy synths, get Eris close to ranking up- then when rise of iron releases everyone claims all their packages trades in their exotics slowly and gets to like 380+ on day one, so you should be happy your NOT one of those ƒuckers.

Use all your strange coins to buy heavy ammo to Xur and rank up factions (and get a few 3 of coins), use your glimmer to buy weapons part and rank up factions, use your legendary marks to buys materials and rank up your factions. If your lowest light items are weapons, do PVP and get random drops, try to get armor packages from vendors. You need ghost ? faction package, nightfall, raid, skeleton keys. You need artifact ? eris package (court of oryx + eris bounties), raid, skeleton keys. If you have an exotic engrams and that type is the under your current light level, then why not opening it, otherwise wait for it ^^ And of course if you do bounties or strikes or nightfall or PVP wear the right class item to get the right boost. You don't want to wear an exotic class item, the xp you get is lower than vanguard or crucible boost. You could rank up the queen and Variks too. But Ranking up vanguard or crucible is better. I had 3 exotic and maybe ten leg when roi dropped. I had enough mats to level dead orbit 2x and I'm at 368 and 367 so far no time for my warlock yet lol

1 ReplySiva Strikes dude, im embarrassed to admit how long i did them, but i know have 367.366, and a 365 characters. Did the raid twice up to the final boss just couldn't seal the deal. those 360 strikes are where its at

They'd still from what I understand decrypt into lower light pieces based on the data of when they were collected. [b][u]Sorry my advice/info was so incorrect[/u]. Did they change this at some point because I had always heard an engrams stats & decryption were set at the moment you acquired it, which is why I thought I recalled people who collected engrams prior to TTK were unhappy as I think it decrypted to year 1 stats after the DLC expansion dropped. I could be wrong. Considering I mainly get green engrams after RoI I wish I had saved up myself all things considered.[/b]

2 RepliesLmao,i didn't save any engrams or materials before roi. Instead I just bought all the 350 exotics xur sold and used those to infuse my gear. I jumped from 330 to 349 in one day.

350 can be done pretty easily getting vendor gear and buying exotics from Xur to infuse.

Turned in several but the most frustrating thing was 3 out 3 heavies turned into dragons breath. And they say RNG isn't broken.

1 ReplyI was robbed with mine.... I decrypted my 101 exotics and 123 Legendaries and it only got me to 360... They either decrypted to 1 lower or 1 higher... Most times the same light. My factions were the same, I want from 11 dead orbit rank to 78 and it gave 1 higher or 1 lower... Sometimes 5 lower. I saved for months just to be robbed

Yup they changed the rules again. Precious years i saved them but was let down as i coulndt transfer them. So i just deceypted them and deleted only to find out with ROI we could have used them. My loss though

I saved up around 35 engrams for the last two and a half months . Not all exotics , it was a mix of legendary and exotic . Anyways I didn't decrypted them till after I got through the whole story . I should've waited to decrypt till I got to 350 . I can't get past 348 . Been doing strikes and Archons forge but not enough I guess .

1 ReplyIt is not a race. I too decided not to save engrams, and whilst I may be behind the Guardians in my collective, wisdom has taught me that when you reach the end in Destiny, there is little else to do. I am taking my time this time around, there is along time until Destiny 2 drops.
