The Khvostov 7G-0X has quickly become a fan favorite, and one of Bungie's greatest -and most creative- additions to Destiny. Not only is it a wonderful nostalgia token, but, its versatility, reliability, and unique style have quickly propelled it into the top tier of my list of favorite Exotics. Not only can you change the Firing Mode on the weapon, but, you can also change its Fire Rate. From the 900-Full Auto bite of a thousand ants, to the Heavy-hitting 450-Semi, and every mode in between, The Khvostov is as formidable as it is adaptable. Personally, I love the 900-Burst. The insane fire rate and stability increase from the 900 RPM makes this an incredibly stable weapon, without losing very much in the way of overall punch. Even without Extended Mag, 54 rounds is more than enough to topple a Major, or a handful of small fry, before needing to reload. The Classic Scope, while it irks my OCD a little bit, helps to bring the weapon's kick and range into a perfect medium. When it comes time to flip over to 450, I usually switch to the Modernized Scope for the enhanced T.A. to ensure my precious few(er) rounds hit their mark.
