Good post.
I understand companies need to make money. But trying to defend these micro transactions when Bungie has already cut their game into pieces on purpose to re-sell as "DLC" is getting to be a bit ridiculous.
The fact they had may more activities to earn these things a few weeks ago, to now just shows a sign of greed.
Waiting for all the Destiny, Internet, White Knights in Fedoras to come argue with me. Argue with me about how a game with a $500 million budget, backed by a billionaire company like Activision, need to do this so those "devs" can feed their families.

you are aware activision is not a charity right ? there are more pepole eating from the cake so you need a bigger cake also the budget you used as an example also goes against you the more they spend the more they need to earn the fact the the prices are outrages has nothing to do with what you said wich was just so wrong . seems to me this entire economic desgin was planned on the same 3 per week freebie from april update and the prices remaind the same after they decided to change that to 1 per week kinda suck i wont be able to get all ornamnets but thats life . it wont change unless 95 % of the playerbase dont buy that stuff but that not gonna happen

He's not complaining about microtransactions though. He's complaining about how he wants as many hand outs as the April update. Big difference. Being with or against microtransactions is cool. But taking a middle stance makes no sense to me. It's cool to have microtransactions so as long as they give me more free microtransactions than they're giving me now. What kind of argument is that? Basically saying "It's cool Bungie. You can keep on doing your shady business practices so as long as you give me more bribe money, cause one package a week ain't cutting it."

Pay anybody the right price and theyll shut up.

It's not a game with a 500 million dollar budget, that would mean destiny 1 had a 500 million dollar budget, 500 million for a 10 year franchise is a whole different story but hey don't let the truth get in that way of a good story

No white knight here just providing some better information

I wish this was isolated to only bungie. Sadly most games have gone this route

Protest with your wallet. Best thing you can do.

Edited by Judge_Rhymehold: 9/24/2016 2:50:26 AMYep. Done with season passes or legendary editions and all that. Truth is most games aren't good enough to keep me playing when the dlc does finally hit. (Except Destiny. Feels so good) There will be exceptions im sure. Like the new projekt red game! :) but they are different, for now. Hopefully the recognition doesn't go to their heads. And their dlc is actually quite big! Plus already have more people on it than the witcher 3 had at its peak development! I ramble.... I agree :)

Wholeheartedly agree. People can defend it all they want, but its all just greed and detestable from a company I used to love and respect. They've lost that. They are nothing but corporate sellouts
