Which one is better and more fun to do in PvE I prefer a tank role that is why I want to use a Titan and I don't really care for Sunbreaker. So any advice and a example or reason why.

It just kind of depends on what I prefer to do when I play. If I intend to be reckless and headfirst, I'll go striker all day long. Excellent damage output as well as allowing for very aggressive game play. However, if I am feeling generous or need to be strategic or a team player, I'll go defender. I'll put on Crest and with the right perks, your bubble is a guaranteed 6 orbs on top of just being helpful to the whole time. Just my thoughts :)

If you want to be really tanky, run striker. With the right perks you can get max armour + longer ticks from pulse/lightning grenades and aftershock on your super for some great dot. Defender can be tanky with the right load out but I never liked the grenades or melee. Plus the bubble feels really underwhelming. But if u run a universal remote + no backup plans build you can soak a lot of damage.

I like my bubble

Depends on the situation

SUNBROS ARE DA BEST BROS
-
Weapons of light is a boss killer.
-
Always Defender in PvE. Striker is only good for killing yellow bar adds, but the bubble is more versatile and absolutely necessary in all raids and endgane content
-
Defender. I try to produce as many orbs as possible for my team.
-
I prefer the Striker. Defenders are just so boring. Not to mention they're only useful when they've got their super.
-
For raids or anytime I have skilled, reliable teammates defender. If I have to basically solo an activity while my teammates twiddle their thumbs then striker or sunbreaker.

Strker with thagomisers aoe melee with juģernaught and shotgun is epic fun but for larger pvp events like raid bubble is moe benificial to the team........ sad panda
-
Defender 110%. It's the best PVE sub class in the game. Whenever you go into a raid you will be glad that you chose it.

There is something inherently satisfying about throwing flaming hammers into a smug Taken or Cabal face. With Immolation Fists and Scorched Earth build, Sunbreaker is my PvE choice always. Striker is...okay. Its meh. Defender is nowhere near aggressive enough for me. "I'm a Titan, in yer face, watch me...pop a bubble". Very anticlimactic.

3 RepliesNone. Hunter.

Sunbreaker, it has good ad control and recovery. And it can weaken bosses if you can manage to get close with a melee.

Neither.
CHINK!!!

Ill let you guess......
Depends on my mood. If I feel like playing aggressive with a HC or auto, I'll run striker. Transfusion is great for keeping you alive and flashbangs keep the enemies at bay. I really only play defender during raids or when I don't want to play fast.
-
Sunbreaker* or defender Strikers are damn near useless in PVE. This is coming from someone who's mained a Titan for three years now.
-
Striker. Always.
-
Striker is way more fun, Defender is about surviving/helping the team for me, so i only use it in raids/high level activities
-
Defender for Strikes, Strike Boss Striker for everything else leading up to Boss

Both can be pretty tanky with the right setup. I like Striker with Insurmountable Skullfort, Monte Carlo, Flashbangs, Overload, Unstoppable, with max Recovery. With two melee charges that are going to heal you, you can pretty much stun everything with Flashbangs, weaken them with Monte Carlo, and finish off with a punch to heal via Transfusion. Defender has the choice of fighting inside or outside of the bubble depending on enemy type. If you want to be mobile, then No Backup Plans or Glasshouse is the way to go. If you want to hold your ground, then Helm of St.14 or Feedback Fence. If you want to be an orb factory for your team then run Ruin Wings, Gift of the Void and Iron Harvest along with a sword or machine gun. Personally, I like Sunbreaker sporting Immolation Fists, Incendiary Grenades, Forgemaster, Stoke the Forge, Fleetfire, and Cauterize. The Super is incredible at dealing with adds or majors after the buff. Stoke the Forge and Fleetfire make it pretty easy to run around with max stacks, and Cauterize ensures rapid recovery. I like to double it up with Boolean Gemini and stack Agility.

Be a Pope and give out all the blessings.

2 RepliesPve? Sunbreaker honestly. But defender is overrated but highly valued in Pve. Strikers have great mob control if used right, and great utility.

Just rocking a titan means a victory!
