its when sony and bungie tel you to delete the game and redownload it

I did that very early on. I'm not sure that was the best idea because then instead of having to download 100mb I had to download around 40gb. My issue was the download kept failing with a corrupt data issue. So I had to run the first part of the download via my Verizon phone hot spot and then finish with my home wifi. Have u tried downloading the update using a hot spot? Being in Australia I'm not sure you have the same issue we all had. I can't see why you would need to delete everything,

At what point is it stalling and giving u that error? 23.5mb?

Ok there was one other person who had that. And he got it to work by pausing the download right before that point, connecting to his hotspot and letting it go for a gig or so then switching back to his home isp. Mine didn't stall there. So I'm not sure why it is for some but not others.
