I turned my hot spot on my Verizon phone before going to bed last night. Woke up to 7 gb downloaded and my phone dead. So I switched over to my mediacom and it kept trucking along. Now I'm at 14gb and now worried since reading your post it's gonna stall out at 17...... please god no!!!!!

Update. After switching to mediacom once I woke up I'm now at 23gb downloaded and still going strong. I think maybe, just maybe I'm in the clear.

Hey that 17gb mark is just for some people I sailed right passed it, it was the 207.5mb range that gave me the most trouble. Hopefully it goes through just fine.

Just passed the 17 mark. Still moving. Fingers crossed!!! Would love to switch to a LAN cable to speed this up but I'm too scared to mess with it.

My trouble spot was the same as yours. I was debating switching to my hot spot again around 17..... to be safe??? Maybe I'll just let it ride and see what happens. Bungie owes us big.

Yeah sadly I think we won't get anything for this.. It seems very Isolated most of the people I have talked to on here are from Central or Southern IL and have Mediacom internet. Such a small group of people affected we didn't even make it into any news headlines at all, If you follow gamespot they said the worst thing about the launch was the queue you had to wait in to get to the game world. No I think no playing the game is worse than that..

Haha one guy wanted to start a clan I mean I am part of about 3 right now (with a clan alliance) but im down to join a group in case we ever have issues again we can collectively find a solution. Be sure to add me my tag is the same as my name on here.

Hey use an alternate ISP to get passed that mark, If you have a hotspot pause it right before 17gb and let the hotspot take it to 18gb or so just use it to get passed those pesky packets that seems to corrupt the download.

I may try that tonight after I get off work or if I can get lucky I will just go and use a friends connection to get it all.
