Did you pause your download when you switched from hotspot to LAN? I'm assuming so but doesn't hurt to ask

Yea then when i restarted i put straight into rest mode

Thanks. I'll do the same. Bad part is my mediacom is actually kinda -blam!-ed at the moment. Had an outage Wednesday and whatever caused that threw my speeds off. Pay for 50 down, usually get between 35-40. Right now I'm running between 7-10. Tech will be here Saturday but still.
