Im loving Rise of Iron, prolly the Best DLC that launched to date, i wish there was more was to get Radiant treasure, other than Mircotrans. Taken King has taken my wallet. Lol

I'm loving it. Currently at 358 light. Got halfway through the raid 3 times. Just trying to play AND HAVE FUN and not make it a chore by grinding. So far so good.

Signed. I'm one of those guardians that has school and practice but even with my limited time I still like taking my time. It's just nice to take a second and admire all the work put into the expansion, I have yet to try archons forge myself but I don't think I try any time soon considering all that's being said about it lmaoo

It's got a few issues but mainly a really good dlc, I found the story lacked importance, SIVA didn't feel like a massive threat to me and needed more meat on the bone story wise but pretty good. My main issue so far is the archons forge, really good idea just poor execution, should have been more like court in terms of how you activate/start it. Would have liked maybe a few more exotics but have a feeling we may see some time gated ones or more released shortly. So is it blowing my mind...no...but it's a solid release and pushes destiny forward in some good ways.

Really lacking content, raid was pretty cool but the entire expansion felt hollow like Dark Below.

So far a solid 8/10 for me and pretty much what I had expected. Still have to start and complete the Raid so could become 9/10 if it's really good. Archon's Forge is the only thing to let me down so far besides a few other smaller design choices. Combination of having difficulty finding other guardians and even then having enough SIVA offerings to "Keep the party going". The Court of Oryx is proof Bungie already knows how to do this type of thing properly. Hopefully the near universal condemnation of Archon's Forge leads to some positive changes.

Sorry, I would have signed earlier, but now that I understand the entire radiant treasure/ornament/ silver dust fiasco, I have plenty to be upset about. Not gameplay wise, just scummy money sucking corporation wise.

really good expansion overal well. the story mission is too small do Archon forge they should increase it too 6 man patrol. so they did a smart thing on the new crucible mode supremacy patrol is beautiful asf cant wait for destiny 2.

9 RepliesPersonally, Like the taken King story better. There was a build up to Oryx and all that. Rise of Iron feels kind of like Destiny the meme. The new bad guys are not as impressive as the taken. (It took over the iron lords yet all they did was make them tentacle puppets.) And is all about Iron Banner and year 1 destiny junk (The overate rocket launcher and overrated dps pistol) Hell, the Plaguelands is basically earth Russian,with a few added parts. The Spicer are basically, just fallen with robot parts. But, really..I think Eris did a better job explaining how evil the hive is better then Mr.vague with his "You dont need to know" til crap hits the fan. And considering how much more personal killing Oryx was vs this "Iron lord" threat. Oryx was a basically the avatar of the Anti Traveler and we killed his son, dismantled his court, and sent his dying husk screaming to Saturn. Defeating him felt like a worthy story. Killing nanomechines feels like child's play and oddly enough for me personally, kind of blew killing a god king and his kingdom. That and the Siva feels kind of dropped on our laps. I thought the next update would be Cabel or something since they have yet to have a final boss update and during the Taken King A lot of talk was about Cabel and their way of life. While having a new enemy is cool and all. The Spicer just kind of came out of no where. I guess that was the whole point of spaming Rapustion on us for a few good missions. Really I guess I comes down to personal taste. I like some of the content,but just a lot of It feels like a attemp to get people who have a fetish for Gally and Iron Banner to want to play even more or comeback because the op rocket Launcher as returned so everything will be easy..just like old time. I dont know,how I feel honestly, half and half. I guess I just think Eris's storyline was better.
