Stop limiting Archon's Forge
Bungie, I appreciate that you learned from Court of Oryx. That was honestly some of the most fun I had in TTK. You made Forge better by having exclusive gear and making the drops end game worthy (at least for now). It's also a lot of fun with the axes that spawn and lots of enemies, so on and so forth.
So why is it when I go to the Forge it's always empty? Well, two things:
It's too hard to get a group together to do it.
It's too hard to keep it going because offerings don't drop enough and we can only hold one.
This is a big part of your new dlc. Stop holding it back and let it take center stage as a viable way to gear up. Let the offerings stack/drop way more of them and see if you can find a way to instance people into an instance with other people who may be running their own offerings.

Yea, the one at a time thing is silly, so they'll change that...also, it's so off the beaten path you can't see if anyone is there...

I hate how they will kick you out if its too hard for your level, they should just have it to where join whatever level you want

This! Completely floored me that Bungie would limit you to holding only one at a time. Asinine!

I did the legendary key for it last night, the dreg boss isn't hard just eats ALOT off bullets. I thought I would get something decent..... Instead I got a blue engram and a warlock bond which was lower light then the one I had on! I'm guessing they will tweak this activity otherwise it's pretty pointless.

6 RepliesOutside of the Sony exclusive quest (sorry Xbox) there's no incentive to run the forge the offerings should have a increased drop rate from the champions that are beaten.

Edited by Snake: 9/23/2016 12:17:14 PMit's always empty because of the combination of the drop rate for siva offerings being so low and the fact you can hold only one at a time (10 stacked would be better for each type). with this combo at the moment you cant hold enough to stay in the forge area for very long, which in turn stops people from meeting up in the forge to help each other.

Edited by Kratos-Silni: 9/23/2016 12:27:32 PMTotally agree. I managed to finish 20 for book, but just because I have a lot of friends that play Destiny. And I was lucky a couple of times that there were other players. Have 2 common and 2 rare offerings drops in total. Very low drop rate.

Agreed, maybe they should make the initial patrol spawn be there and have an indicator outside that players can trigger to let other players know they want to or are doing the forge

I think it's in the wrong location, needs to be somewhere in the middle of the hub, or even outside in the area just before where it is now, so that passing guardians will be inclined to join in, or even in some cases simply know it exists. I've had a few people ask me what the forge is even for when passing through, which is odd as bungie made quite the deal out of it in ROI previews. Real shame as at the moment Archons Forge seems wasted.

How about this. Just add a Patrol Spawn in the area outside. Best spot is if you are leaving the Forge and that building. The far left. Or simply just move the Spawn its self to there. That way more Traffic in the area.

And another day of 7 people sitting in the Forge because no one has an offering. I just spent 1 h + looking for one by killing various enemies and doing all sorts of missions. Nothing!

Running it last night with my fire team and 3 randos. We go through 3 offerings and that's it, the party is over. It's a bummer.

I do agree, and believe they should re-work some things.

It seems to be random. When I was solo, at one point we had 5 people in there. In a 3 man fireteamnwe also got to 5 at one point, but we had to wait [i]a lot[/i] longer whereas when I was solo there were already other solo players there when I joined.

Been a few times this morning, plenty of randoms there did the common and rare offerings but failed perfected! Need more light. Haha

Farmed it allot no weapon at all and not many anough players for my perfected one to do.... Its a shame i like it allot!!!

Got a blue offering and put it in the machine, then my whole fireteam got locked out, I haven't seen any more offerings drop....this is my AF experience.

I take my time and walk to the place and 75% of the time, it's empty. Not to mention th offerings are a pain to get as well as the randomness of the bosses that show. I need one more shank boss but have been unable to get one to spawn on the rare occasion people are there.

What do you get from it? Completed two of them successfully and never got rewards...other than the green and blue engrams from killing enemies normally.

6 RepliesI watched a guy put in an offering amd start shooting from the ledge and get locked out, leaving me in there alone. On top of that the only 2 offerings I have in my possession are the perfected ones and I'm only 350.
