Stop limiting Archon's Forge
Bungie, I appreciate that you learned from Court of Oryx. That was honestly some of the most fun I had in TTK. You made Forge better by having exclusive gear and making the drops end game worthy (at least for now). It's also a lot of fun with the axes that spawn and lots of enemies, so on and so forth.
So why is it when I go to the Forge it's always empty? Well, two things:
It's too hard to get a group together to do it.
It's too hard to keep it going because offerings don't drop enough and we can only hold one.
This is a big part of your new dlc. Stop holding it back and let it take center stage as a viable way to gear up. Let the offerings stack/drop way more of them and see if you can find a way to instance people into an instance with other people who may be running their own offerings.

Agreed. It feels like they have over-complicated it given that CoO had a good thing going. Give us a horde mode concept with CoO style set-up/access and things will run more smoothly

Usually there's only me or one or perhaps a group of two and that's not enough people to always have someone with an offering. Additionally, I've cleared the entire Archon area in search of offerings, to no avail. The only time I seem to get one is when I kill a major during a public event. Still think they should have learned from the Court though and placed the Forge in the landing zone. I'm willing to bet that a lot of people don't even know about rh Forge - because there's no reason to ever go there unless you know what's up.

Why doesnt the lower tier drop more, then like CoO the 2nd tier must be completed 3 times and then the 3rd tier Offering is awarded (which 2nd and 3rd tiers can RNG Drop aswell) and ya. I have 40 Reciprocal Runes..... why do i have 0 1st Tier AF Offerings after joining up on 8 AF Runs.

If you have been doing a few rounds with other players and then you decide to put your legendary offering in, and they all disappear, you havnt got much chance of solo'ing it if youre low light

Late to complete the story, I finally got to patrol the area and now know exactly what you mean. I took my first run without much knowledge of what was there. Finally stumbled upon the Forge and figured I'd jump in and help the ones already fighting. Uh. Nope. Didn't have the needed ingredient to enter. Bummer. Thought it might be like the Dreadnaught arena, but obviously this is a more "exclusive" event.

The first time my friend and I tried, he used his key and we didn't know we had to hurry and jump down there. It closed back up and took his key lmao

It's also a ways out of the way to get there. It should have been near the spawn, or something you would have to right through or near when getting around the plagulands. I had to solo an enhanced captain one. It was fun, but got a little dicy the last minute... They should also make the drops more frequent for everyone, would make it more of an incentive to hang around and help

So wasted three offerings in the last two days due to stupid two seconds to get in there bullshit. Eyiyi oh and two were perfected ones. Used a splicer key and I couldnt get back in each time with the perfected offerings. Wtf is this shit?

9 RepliesYou know what really sucks? You rarely get any loot You're better off doing strikes like usual to get high light for the raid. Archon Forge= Archon Failure.

I will literally bump this every single day until bungie makes some changes. Archons forge is sooo fun... more so than both prison and court. It has so much potential!!! The biggest issue, by far for me, is only being able to hold one offering and also not being able to transfer offerings on DIM.

Agree that the drop rate for offerings or inventory capacity should be addressed. The Forge has been well populated on my visits. The only time it seems barren is when I'm just whizzing through on the anomaly scan patrol. I had one fused offering drop, but have been apart of several captains by just hanging around.

Agreed on that. I do think though that once people have a better feel for the game and obtain higher light levels it will get a little better.

The Fogre is great.. fun and good loot. "Walk" to/into the Forge, do not "Run" As that well allow the game to load other people if they are at The Forge.

Dropped rate is poo you can farm the shielded purple captain outside forge but drop chance is low. Had a group of nine and the game crashed kick others team out poor show bungie... this isn't DLC its a lap dance

To be honest, I thought that it was going to be "endless hordes" in vying waves of crack induced madness trying to smite us...! Instead, I find a finely tuned timed event of only 5Min or less and...it's...not...endless! Holy ellipses Bungie, as much as I both love and enjoy it, please have OPTIONS.

Ya, we should be able to carry more offerings. I just need the cloak and helmet to finish the set for my hunter...

It's unfortunate because Archon's Forge is actually legitimately fun. I don't know what it is about it, but it really is fun to play.

Agree! They need to stop making stuff require you to go find people to play. Either add matchmaking or make it so people can play it by thenselves.

I had three buddies and each of us had an offering, by the third one of our friends got another, and after him I got another, by that time a few people showed up. Maybe I've been lucky, but it's been pretty good for me.

yep i went in there last night and waited for about 15 minutes with fire team set to public and not one sole came in. This is not a good start a couple of days into a new DLC So how those bounties and record book are ever going to get done i have no idea.
