I want more Iron Lore!
I just finished playing though the story. It was great. I love the visuals and music in this expansion. So much better than TK but I just wish it was longer. I hope they add more in the next six months. I just didn't get enough lore or cinematic.

5 RepliesHeres more lore. Iron lords want to have new golden age. Learn about siva, then spend years tracking it down. They find it. As they are march to retrieve it rasputin responds very clearly. "No." He says "Yes" replies the iron lords So rasputin sends an army and nukes the majority of the iron lords into orbit in an attempt to tell them its a bad idea Iron lords dont stop. Rasputin says "alright you can have it, for a price" Iron lords get more siva than they can handle Saladin being the only one left cries and goes home never speaking of it again till he realizes he can use the mighty god slaying guardian to avenge his friends. Gives guardian badass sword for doing his work. Proceeds to send guardian to make a legendary weapon only to have it modified by the very thing that killed his friends. Now you might be asking how come rasputin didnt nuke us or the fallen from orbit to keep them away from siva? Well rasputin has tried in the past but for some reason every time he sends a nuke at us it fails to detonate and our ghost just turns it into glimmer for our crippling heavy synth addiction. Well rasputin being the stellar guy he is not wanting to support our addiction no longer sends nukes at us. He also feels that there is a slight chance siva will modifiy us and we will no longer be addicted to heavy ammo. As for the fallen same thing only he's trying to keep them from stealing his jam collection so instead he convinces them siva is cherry jam. The rest is history.

Having Saladin and the Iron Lords involved has effectively killed them. The Iron Lords are Iron Wimps. They were literally swinging axes and shooting at nanomachines... Might as well be trying to stab Bacteria to death. Then they seemed surprised & horrified that they were losing. But I know why they were this stupid.. They were so busy fighting each other in their "Iron Banner" that they had no idea how to fight their REAL enemies. So when they had to fight something that wasn't a Guardian they got owned. Lord Shaxx should take notes...he's going down the same path... I wish I could let The Fallen destroy the Iron Temple in the 1st mission. The Iron Lords do NOT deserve a temple. They were pompus, arrogant, and self-centered to build that place. Forged in fire... Forged with stupidity should be the new phrase. The more I replay the storyline. The more respect I lose for them.

Agreed, I want more. As awesome as the story quests were, they don't give as much as I was expecting. Another 20 or so would be nice.

2 RepliesShould have been way more. Minimum 6 new strikes, much longer story/campaign at least 25 new missions to go through and such.. just the fact so many have already completed the roi campaign and storyline etc. Really indicates that it is not enough.

More in-game lore in general would do Destiny good. We need more epic moments like the final RoI story mission. I get it. Destiny loves forcing the "oooh this person said this vague thing, such mystery, much wow" trope, but now it's a bit ridiculous. And I mean lore IN the actual game, not some strings of text on digital cards that you can't even access in Destiny itself.

You get alot more Exotic quest then just Gjallahorn year 3, Thorn year 3 & Khvosto 7g-0x questline like Black Spindle, Boolean Gemini, Sleeper Simulant, Touch of Malice & the Exotic class weapons. So yeah, Bungie could of done better! But i can't say that they don't got something cooking up at Bungie place for October & December 2016 o_O

1 ReplyI was hoping since this is supposed to be a reflection or a tip of the ol hat to the original Destiny we'd find out about the Traveler. The Speaker and mostly the Stranger? But hell no it's about a tech virus.... and apparently one already beaten up and weaken to hell and gone.

12 RepliesThings I want to know from RoI: - what is the nonmilitary guardian colony in deep space that Efrideet knows the location of but won't disclose? - where was the colony ship full of SIVA going that was 9 billion miles away (oddly specific distance)? - what did Saladin mean when about rasputin not being a warmind anymore?

I think the only good mission was the last one. I finished the Mars mission in 4 minutes and some change. They needed to make about 8-10 missions for the rise of iron storyline
