I also have Mediacom and am having the same issue. I've never had any issues prior to this with downloading/updating Destiny.
I have tried cable, wifi, DNS change, reinitialized, reset database, and deleted Destiny. I am no longer able to even download Destiny. I get to about 207 mb and it stops.
