For those trying to purchase the Expansion through Xbox One or Xbox App:
Search for "Rise of Iron" in the Xbox Store from your Xbox or XBox Windows 10 App - make sure to select the one that has "- Preorder"
If you go to Destiny or Search Destiny in the store you will never find what you need. There's a crap load of versions in the store that say they are part of a bundle... This is the only one the store will let you buy from my experience. This worked for everyone i know in RL that had this issue - but you have to make sure to find/select the correct one out of many in the store.

PS. If Bungie was on top of their *stuff* they should have started a new thread because this one i believe was meant specifically for the Collection Upgrade - not the rest of us who already own Destiny thru Taken King on Xbox One having issues purchasing the Expansion.

Edited by Al Gore Rythem: 9/19/2016 11:35:05 PM[b]Update[/b]: I did notice when i sign out of my Live profile on my Xbox and go to the store it says "Pre-order is currently not available" however i can still buy the Collection for $60. My guess is that it couldn't see that i already had Destiny / Taken King. I got my copy from the Xbox store so i don't need the disc. If you are disc based, try with the disc in. Also make sure your game is fully updated and make sure you are signed into the correct profile.

Are you US and are you disc based? If i sign out of my profile i see the same thing, but I got mine from the store so i dont need the disc. I figure that's because it doesn't see i have Destiny / Taken King installed - If you are disc based, have you tried with your disc in? Also, is your game up to date?
