I report all red bars and you should too
Let them enjoy their ban from the crucible as they get better internet.
Bungie gives us an option for "Bad Connection" in the report tab for a reason.

You know that the ingame depiction of a players connection is not accurate? I got shot through walls from laggy green bars. Every time I play Private Matches with my mates (we're all from the same region with good internet connectivity) there's always one of us with a red bar. And you know what? It's never the same person! If you want to report anyone then report Bungie's servers and SBMM.

I am red bar once every so often but overwatch and literally everything else runs insanely smooth. How about you actually know what you're talking about before you make yourself look like an idiot.

I have decent internet wired straight into my console yet every now and then i get red bars and dont know why. So carry on doin what ur doin coz u will be the one that gets a ban for pointlessly abusing a reporting system

6 RepliesI'm in the uk and my friend is in America, as our connection is transatlantic our bar fluctuates regularly. First game, red bar, second game green bar, third game yellow bar, ect We both have 50mb download speeds and upto 10mb upload speed. By your statement you'd report us. Thus F U in advance. Horrible mind of a child gob shite. Live in the real world and know the difference between reality and fantasy, or at least try to see the world doesn't revolve around you.

Edited by evlwarhed: 9/19/2016 1:12:29 PMFirst, I look at player list to see who is red barring, then as I die, I look again( lately most the time the connection bars look like blinking Christmas lights, back and forth. Then if I run across a glitcher or someone not taking damage( and are playing with disreguard because of that fact) then I'll report them. A lot if not most of the red/yellow bars now are the manipulation from the damage referee, to lower winning teams kills, and raise losing teams( they call this balance in the destiny crackerjack gang) It's easy to see the fluctuation of bars if you just look when u die. Hell you might be a red bar at some point, and no matter if your rocking 200mbs or not. So keep that in mind also. It is funny that most the glitches I run across are hunters, anyone else notice that? Lol

I only report people for bad connection if they're glitching around, not taking damage, etc.

1 ReplyNo you shouldn't... that is actually very dishonest and very disgusting to see... it's not his fault that his provider is providing bad quality internet, although he did buy it, but they would have had a false tag saying Fast and good broadband, or he may not even be in charge of his internet and even if he was and he wanted to change it, if his providers are anything like mine that could take upto 3 months which would make it very difficult for him to change

Not all red bars are intentional tho.take me for instance, I've got a solid connection, but if I connect to Pablo in ducking Brazil HE makes my connection go red just because of distance..and if he's hosting for some reason it brings everyone down. So unless someone's running into a wall, then all of the sudden I die by them is the only time I'd report. We can't help it if it's peer to peer and the hosts on the other side of the blaming world!
