These are just amazing. Some are scary, some are euphoria-inducing. I-Doser is this weird thing that uses sound to stimulate brain waves, and make you feel weird.
Before watching -
Turn off the lights in your room.
Put in headphones, one for each ear.
Lay down on a bed or just get in an extremely comfortable position in a chair, without touching any other furniture.
Play the audio, and enjoy.

Note - This isn't an advertisement. I'm just sharing this amazing, unfortunately addicting thing. Discuss the effects! There are plenty more than linked, you can find them in the related videos.

Gate of Hades was somewhat scary. I did not expect the crackle noise....

And, If I were to try, wich should I start out with, never had any trippy experience in my life, so...
It's just noise.
The orgasm one would have worked if i was relaxed (i did it sitting in a chair msning) so yes that one works. And happy didnt work for me but i only listened for half of it and wasnt totally "relaxed" And ive seen alot of youtube videos where it works.

For the record with the I-doser... In order to experience the full effect of it you must turn off the lights, listen to it through headphones, and relax. Make sure everything around you is quiet so you can experience the full effect.

Hums and different pitches. They don't work that well for me except the orgasm one, really, so start off with that one. They're completely harmless bro. It's just like if you're listening to music, just, not, err, music.

What the hell! my brother just laid there during the whole hades one then said thanks for wasting 10 minutes of my life??

Some people are immune to it. Based on what I've heard, it doesn't affect people with ADHD :/

I tried the happy one; it just made my face flush, and then I got bored. I'm listening to Gates of Hades as I type. So far, all I'm getting is a headache. Great, now my ears hurt. [Edited on 04.21.2010 8:17 PM PDT]

Tried three different ones (Nitrous, Quick Happy, and Orgasm) to no avail. Maybe I was too sleepy, but it seems like complete placebo effect to me.

Made this thread 4 years ago and it went 500 pages then was closed lol.

Tried a few, Quick Hash had the most obvious, yet unexpected effect. Hallucinations weren't listed as symptoms, but let me sum it up: Cat People. Scared the -blam!- out of me!

Thread saved.

LAY DOWN IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO THE HADES ONE, I'M GODDAMNED SERIOUS. I got to the part where it crackles, both headphones in. I was sitting up, posting on b.net, however. After a bit, it starts raising pitch. EVERY MUSCLE IN MY LEGS CRAMPED AT ONE TIME AND IT HURTS LIKE A SONNOFA-blam!-! Seriously, lay down.
-
You gotta turn the lights off and lay down.

How to properly listen to binaural beats. The following tips are simply tips and not a manual you are required to follow. I sound so serious, but anyway. Get into a quiet place. Find a comfortable position, preferably 130-180 degrees on a soft surface. Have the room dark. Listen to the music with stereo headphones. (Preferably a little loud and high quality, that way all the potential background noise is blocked our and so you can hear the quieter noises in the beat.) You must not let yourself get distracted, and focus your entire mind on the binaural beats. These beats have been proven time and time again that they can actually alter your senses to some degree and stimulate feelings.
Posted by: The Holy Taco
Posted by: An Epic Kitten These beats have been proven time and time again that they can actually alter your senses to some degree and stimulate feelings.
Link?
Well I shouldn't have used the word "proven" but countless experiences from many many people have shown that they've experienced significant effects. I'll see if I can find some research articles from reputable sources, though.
