Trying to add new clanmates and get error code 657
I keep trying to add a friend to my clan but keep getting this message "you cannot join this clan because you have not played Destiny using an linked xbox live account. (657)".
does anybody know what this means or how to correct this error?

7 RepliesSo I checked out the profile of the guardian that tried to join my clan and it appears he hasn't linked his bnet account to his psn. Probably his privacy settings.

me too, ive linked my PSN account and have 3 characters so im pretty sure ive played destiny with the PSN account already, but i cant join a clan. I dont get the error, the clan owner gets the error.

The clan owner of the clan im trying to join gets the same error code. Does anyone know how to fix it?

1 ReplyIf your prospective clan mate has privacy settings enabled on their Bungie.net profile (where you are unable to view their characters), you might try having them disable the privacy settings and try the invitation again.

I have a playstation and the clan leader of a group I am trying to join is getting the same message. Anybody have a suggestion ?
