So halo 3 odst released in 2009 and halo reach in 2010. We all know that halo odst had that destiny Easter egg which means bungie was already planning destiny but then they made reach.
I heard they were a bit pressured by MS to make reach but one thing I noticed is that they changed halo chemistry. But what if they did this on purpose knowing MS would continue halo and try to follow halo reach pvp style
idk just a thought that bungie tried to sabotage halo
1 ReplyWell I don't think Bungie would do anything to risk their integrity...6 years ago at least.

ODST and Reach were test beds for Destiny's Engine or something. I don't remember the specifics but I think it had something to do with testing the online capability of multiple people in the same lobby with synchronized AI in Firefight and Co-op Campaigns.

1 ReplyNah, I think it was just Bungie testing out non-balanced PvP (in the sense that everyone doesn't start out the same because of loadouts) for Destiny. I was (and am) really pissed at Bungie for using their last Halo game as a lab rat. Still, 343 should have listened to the fans who wanted Halo 2/3 type gameplay in Halo 4 and 5. And it's nice to see you again. You were the first person I really talked with on my new account after a year or so hiatus.
