Hydra farm?
I am trying to farm Hydras for my grimoire score, since I am at 4920 grimoire and would like to finish as much as possible before Rise of Iron launches and increases the max grimoire score again.
Does anyone know a good spot where they spawn on a regular basis, where it would make them easy to farm?

https://youtu.be/WbMkG3c4fzs This where I farmed mine, took roughly 30 seconds per kill. I'd use the hydra blast and throw a grenade to kill myself then respawn and do it again.

1 ReplyCan't remember the mission on venus where you have to shoot the gates. Right before you get to the first one at campus 9, jump up on the stone ledge and look to the left. there is one that spawns way in the distance. You can shoot it with a rocket or snipe it. It can't be seen but the health bar shows up. I used a scout to make sure the shield was open the sniped. Suicide off the cliff and repeat.

4 RepliesPatrol, the area where you go through to gate to the black garden. Spawns every few seconds if you clear the adds that spawn with it.

Hydra also spawn regularly on patrol in the subway station area on Mars.

On Mars the area with the Black Garden gate (Valley of Kings?) has a regular Hydra spawn. But then like every location on Patrol the Taken can ruin the spawns for you.

The Venus public event at the Citadel is a good place. The Archon Priest wouldn't be bad if the encounters weren't random at the big door.
